Now they want to ruin the sanctity of marriage which for Centuries, and I mean Centuries has been between one man and one woman.

Now they want to ruin freedom of religion by quieting all religions, Christian or other wish who teach that homosexuality is wrong. Now you man not like it that some religions, and not just Christians, teach that homosexuality is wrong but you don't have to join that religion. However to try to stop another from being a part of that religion is against the 1st Amendment "

You know what that means...that means we have the right to say that Homosexuality is a sin......like it or not.....so does any other religion who feels the same way not just Christians.

I am a gay Christian. My advice to you is to ignore what these people say about homosexuality (and many other issues besides). The Bible tells us that God IS love and you can be certain that Jesus has other priorities aside from chastizing people for who they share a bed with!!

I am a church youth worker and have seen first hand how homophobia and bullying have wrecked the faith (and the lives) of many young men and women. Take heart in the fact that Jesus loves you for who you are, not for who other "Christian" people would want you to be!

Let me remind you of what you said about the Bible in another thread:

If God wanted us to follow a strict set of rules, He wouldn't have given us free will now, would he? The fact we have free will also means He wants us to use our reason? The Bible was put together by a bunch of bishops at the Council of Laodicea in 365. Some of it is God-inspired, and some of it most definitely isn't. God did not preserve a perfect rule book because He doesn't want us to be bound by the letter of the law. The letter kills, but the spirit gives life. The dangers of literalism are well expounded on this forum and within the main pages of the Landover Baptist Church. Incidentally, I know many wonderful Baptists who would profoundly disagree with the nasty, unchristian message preached therein by some of your brethren.

So when you quote the Bible as authoritative, you have the burden of proof that you are quoting one of the parts that are God-inspired and not one of the parts that aren't, and that you aren't simply cherry-picking the parts that you like and discarding the rest. (Of course, we True Christians™ don't have that problem because we believe in all of it.)

Have you been capable of showing one scripture that shows this (other than cutting John 3:16 in half)? We have shown you scripture after scripture that clearly states God's and therefore Jesus' stance on homosexuality. Would you like me to post them again?

I suspect you have not read your christian bible very well. As has already been pointed out through the many quotes from scripture already posted here, the "Bible" is a very homophobic piece of work.

I suggest if you really want to lead a good and happy life you free yourself by believing in No God.
