@James, my "excuse" is that I grew up around a lot of hate so I try to steer clear of people filled with it. Every time I attempted to look into Christianity and started asking questions I got attacked by the ones who claimed they would welcome me with loving arms. Pardon me for defending myself for having different opinions, I just don't think it's fair that some of you think I absolutely have to think what you think as if I'm not my own person.

I don't like all of this hate at all...and to me its GROSLY non christian. Didn't the bible teach to love your neighbours?? Does that mean only if there not gay? Also being gay isn't a disease, its called falling in love with someone who happens to be of the same sex, I don't see why that should cause offence to anyone. Please explain this because I don't understand. My philosphy is just be good to each other, be tolerent, friendly, loving, and no hate because hate is just plain ugly. If I don't like someone I just turn the other cheek and walk off. I dont need to demonise different communities.

Our neighbours, yes. Foul sinners, no. A neighbor to me is someone who's my neighbor in Christ. A homosexual is not my neighbor.

Being gay is a SIN and should actually be considered a crime punishable by the death penalty according to Biblical law. It doesn't matter if homosexuality offends me or any other True Christian™ (which it certainly does). What really matters is that homosexuality OFFENDS GOD!

Your personal philosophy is of little relevance to us. God requires us to expose the sins of others. We don't do this in an attempt to "demonize different communities", we do this to try and show people the errors of their sinful ways and offer them a chance at redemption through Jesus Christ, just like the Bible commands.

You make some good points, and I understand, or am at least gaining more understanding on what makes you tick, I just choose to have my beliefs as well as you have yours. And I don't mind you mot agreeing with the gay lifestyle as long as you leave them to it, cus most people are happy as they are and don't want to be preached or told what there doing is wrong cus its not a nice way to approach anyone in my opinion. If it was me I would let them be gay, but if they wanted to change or get support etc, approach the church and get the guidence they wanted should they decide to be religious. I just beleive in equal rights I guess and live and let live, because the world is a lot more of a happy place when people get on, and don't fight.
