In what is being called by many Christians around America as the first example of a homosexual making a good decision, a young man from New Jersey jumped off a bridge to his death last week after video of him being gay was released on the internet.

If a man ends his life , because it no longer appears worth living , this remark is counter-productive in my eyes. No one chose to be gay , any more than I chose to be a transsexual . Or someone left-handed or suffer from Down Syndrome . We should help these people with pastoral care, not condemn. In the LDS Church, I had met a young man many years ago. He was married , and father. By profession he was a dance teacher . He plays a passionate chess, was very good at it. He had defeated me every time , usually less than ten chess moves . So bad I was.
He had a chess partner , into which he fell in love. And this is also reflected in him. Both thought that they were heterosexual. They had sex with each other , and he was expelled and shunned in the parish . Even his children, he was not allowed to see . He hanged himself.
Was it good that he was dead ? Was it good for his children, who found him hanging from the bar ? Was it good that his ex-wife mourned for years about his death ? Was it good that the bishop rejoiced over his death , and immediately began to dredge the grieving widow ? EVERYONE is important to God ! Every life is important! And HE's crying about the people who commit suicide.

Wow you guys. I had some respect for this website when I first got on here because you fought for you're beliefs but now all of that is gone. If Jesus is how you make him seem I would gladly go chill with Satan than him any day. You all make Jesus sound like more o a monster than demons and that is so wrong. Jenny, why doesn't God agree with you? We show the Word to the world as it is. If you disagree with us, you should take it up with God, because He wrote that all homosexuals are abominations, and while that is what God intended them to be, they sure aren't perfect.

The Bible says both in the Old and New Testaments that homosexuals are deserving of death. We cannot help them along to that for being gay with the laws of the land being the way they are.
