I only started wearing Polish, Mascara etc. after I discovered who I was really, it was a reaction rather than the inverse.
Very reassuring. Thank you, Nancy P.

      Nancy P?
      A) Its not a brilliant attempt at an effeminate nickname, I mean, Sam>Samantha? Come on, Try harder!
and My point still stands, It does nothing to make a child gay, its simply a way for parents and children to bond together.

Well, now there, hold on a moment.

If, by "parents," you mean a man and a women, just the way God intended, there is no way a Godly Man™ would allow his son to be homerfied.

If, however, you mean parents of THE SAME SEX(!), then you've come to the wrong place to espouse that blasphemous drivel.

So, exactly what kind of arrangement are you talking about, nancy?

              Re: Nail Polish?!?!? For Boys?!?!?!

Okay, firstly the term parents is defined as 'A caretaker of the offspring of their own species', So wether the child is parlay to a Same-sex or traditional family, It makes no difference. Note Reference 1A.
And secondly, I know my father allowed me to Use Make-up, Wear what I wanted and encouraged me to be myself after I came out, and He is an extremely morally upstanding member of our community.
So I believe that invalidates your point.

              Reference 1A:
'The social science literature rejects the notion that there is an optimal gender mix of parents or that children and adolescents with same-sex parents suffer any developmental disadvantages compared with those with two opposite-sex parents. The professionals and the major associations now agree there is a well-established and accepted consensus in the field that there is no optimal gender combination of parents. The family studies literature indicates that it is family processes (such as the quality of parenting and relationships within the family) that contribute to determining children's well-being and "outcomes," rather than family structures, per se, such as the number, gender, sexuality and co-habitation status of parents.'

So: your father painted you up as a boy-whore, had you waltz around the house for him (and his friends?) which turned you into a fag, and somehow that makes him "morally upstanding" ???

'Painted me up as a boy-whore'?
It was MY choice to wear it, Just as it was MY choice to study Drama and Art over Maths and English.
                  Because its MY life.
And he doesn't take anymore notice of me when I get ready to go out than he Does when I'm normally at home?
Neither did he bring his 'friends' to the house?

Thank you for clearing all that up, “Sammy.”

It’s always good for queers like you to admit your terrible, vile lifestyle, and by doing such, I’m told that you have neatly identified your problem and have taken the first step to curing you of this disease.

Once you complete our certified Ex-gay Program® you are well on your way to becoming Saved. The next step is to become a Forum Member™. At that point you are closing in on our coveted True Christian™ certification.

Don’t let me lead you to believe the journey will be easy. Quite the contrary, I’m told the journey is long and difficult. (Since, unlike you, I was born a manly-man and have prided myself of liaising with those of the opposite sex throughout my life, I can only rely on second-hand knowledge.)

During your quest for straight-ness, you will spend time with a number of our Pastors culminating with a rigorous, long term apprenticeship with Pastor Zeke.

Gently held in Pastor Zeke’s arms, you will spend hours and hours on your knees before him. Whatever you do during this time, do not spurn his loving embrace as he is the final arbiter in your quest to eschew the fagdom that embroils your soul.

At that point you can kiss bid all your fag friends goodbye.

I caught my nephew wearing my mother's shoes and gave him a real stern talking to and a punishment for two days using some restraints I keep in my bedroom in case I'm attacked.

After one day of punishment, he looks very sorry for what he's done, but I still am worried he's a queer. Sad. It's all because his mother lets him do that sort of thing, including the nail polish.

                            Re: Nail Polish?!?!? For Boys?!?!?!

Excuse me while I'm late to join into this thread, but I feel like this must be said.

I have to say that I honestly believe that if a boy uses nail polish, it will not turn him into a homosexual. Why? Because it's just nail polish. It's a color on your nails. Who said it's suppose to mean anything? A boy who likes the color pink can not be automatically assumed that he is going to be gay. Especially at that young age.

The bible does state that about a girl should not wear things for boys and vice versa. But back then, nail polish wasn't even around. And no one said that nail polish is a concrete "girl" thing. I'm pretty sure that only ignorant society biased people believe that nail polish is just a "girl" thing. Because then all of the sudden, we're playing the blame game. What makes an object a concrete "girl" thing? In different cultures, some of which do worship God the way you all claim to do, men wear kilts. Or robes and such. And then what would you say to that? Are those "girl" things? If dresses are "girl" things, then are jeans "boy" things? I find your argument quite faulty if I do say so myself. What do you do with unisex things?

I have to say this as well. Although all of you call yourselves "True Christians" with that equally ridiculous trademark sign you use, I feel like you are living opposite. As Christians, aren't you suppose to be living in a Christian-ly behavior? When someone even points a fault or defends themselves or even says something that you don't agree with, you charge at them with pitchforks. You say hateful and horrible things that makes you look not very Christian. I know you are suppose to spread the Word of God. But I don't believe it is your place to shun people. Or slander them. Or even wish for them to be stoned like some of your other threads indicate. I don't think God would be very pleased with you wishing for other people's death. That is for HIM to decide. Not you. I think it is your job to pray for people and hope that the Lord guides them. I really honestly believe you are going way overboard. Some of your replies to other people's replies are completely outrageous. It makes me wonder if you're all just melodramatic, ignorant people who like to save literature from the Bible and then make stuff up from there.

I'm not saying homosexuality is the way to go. I'm heterosexual. I know homosexuals. I do not agree with it. I am not one of them. I believe it is against what God wants. But I'm not going to hurt people because of it. God loves everyone. He wants to give everyone a chance. I feel as a Christians we should do that.

And on a closing note, I have to say this to the member ExGay Alex. Your nephew looks like he is way too young to know the difference between a man and a woman's shoe. He is a child. Lighten up. Just because he wears somebody else's shoes, does not mean anything. And I hope that no one actually punished him with restraints. I believe that is taking punishment WAY TOO FAR. I believe that's actually against the law.

I hope everyone reads this and takes something from it.

And P.S., you would think that on a forum like this, people would take much more pride in making sure they didn't sound like bumbling idiots with horrible grammar and misspellings all over the place. Have some pride. Have some class. You don't like me bashing you, right? Then stop bashing everyone else.
