    Hello hello!

Evening (for me, at least)! My name is Joe Blow.
I'm a pretty normal Christian. Attend church every Sunday that I can, pray every morning and every night, you know the drill.
I go to the L.A. baptist church.
My favorite verse is John 8:7. This verse really reminds me to not let out my emotions on a bad day.
I came to find Jesus through none other than my loving, supportive Christian parents! Gotta love 'em.
I came here to Landover to help make good men and women out of sinners, and help make True Christians out of good men and women!

Welcome, Joe! Tell us about your family. Do you have a helpmeet? If so, how many sons has she born?
sigpicMt 21:42, 44 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes . . . ? And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Welcome, Joe. Presumably, you live in God forsaken Los Angeles, which is the world headquarters for perversions of every type. How do you serve Jesus in such an environment? What type of revolver do you bear?

      God Bless!

Don't have one yet. Think I'm still waiting for that "perfect gal", ya know?

You are right to say the place is "diverse". To serve Jesus, besides sometimes inviting friends to church, I just try to hold my chin high and turn the other cheek. And though this may sound a little cliche, love and tolerance are my only defenses.

Good for you, son. If some scumbag tries to imply you are beneath his status by delivering a backhand meant for his lessors, turn that cheek and force him to strike your left cheek and thereby acknowledge you as his equal. Then beat the devil out of him for insulting you in the first place.

As a man of God as you say you are, wouldn´t a rod of iron as in Revelations 2:26-27 be a better way to go? Love and tolerance don´t sound very Christian. How else would you explain Matthew 7:13-14? Most so called Christians will burn in Hell.
Jeremiah 6:21 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.

No no no. That won't happen until after the Rapture, Tribulation, etc. etc., not much good for the here and now, what? Luckily, the Bible still has ya covered:

Ephesians 6:11-17 "11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:"

See, God wants your loins well, uh, "girt" . Don't disappoint Him, now!

... Love and tolerance don´t sound very Christian...

Your Bible quote was from the King James Bible. This is good! All other bibles are blasphemous dribble, concocted from the fertile imaginations of scheming idolaters seeking to wring what value they can from the simple-minded.

Well, of course. You could say I do pray all the time, but of course, my job made sure to tell me about "no religion in the workplace" AFTER I applied. Basically meant that my "high-concentration praying" is done at home.

Nonsense. If we should take away anything from the murder of Charlie Hebrew in Paris this week, it is that religious believers should stand firm in their faith and not let anyone persecute us or thwart us from fulfilling our Mission from God (Matthew 28:19)!

Can I ask why you chose a picture of Yukon Cornholius from that blasphemous Rudolph cartoon as an avatar? Are you trying to make Baby Jesus cry?

If you ask me, Yukon Cornelius is a shining example of the American work ethic. He left whatever boring stuff he did back home to go north and look for gold.

I certainly understand how Rudolph is blasphemous, however. Everyone in that movie that is related to Christmas makes Christmas look like a joke with its only purpose being giving presents to kids. Luckily, Yukon isn't one of "Santa's helpers" or what have you, and I would reckon he actually does Christmas the right way.
