Hello, I just discovered this site a few days ago. I’m not really sure what lead me here but I’m hoping it is a God sent. My name is Sydney and I am 19 years of age. I have been saved for about two years now. I was raised in church my entire life. The church that I attended was nondenominational and really didn’t preach on the truth. I started attending an independent Baptist church and quickly discovered some intense preaching. I got convicted of my lost state and accepted Christ into my life. A lot has changed since salvation and I’m so very thankful for it. I work full time at a hospital and I’m finishing my degree to be a news reporter. I am very active in my church and I also enjoy singing in our choir. I am currently praying that God will send me a godly man to be my husband. That desire has been laid on my heart since I was sixteen. Keep me in your prayers and I hope to get to know you all soon. Thank you for reading my short bio.

Well, this is a polite Introduction. Please, do not despair. It is not a total disaster to be a spinster at your age but I do admit you'd better hurry! I'll have you in my prayers, of course.
Perhaps you might benefit from a verse that would give you hope in your current situation. My suggestion is as follows:
Joel 2:16
Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

Welcome young lady to the friendliest and happiest place on Earth. Did you know, the only place better than Landover is Heaven. If you are good enough to God, He might let you in, as long as you are not ethnic, female or some sort of sexual deviant.

Yes, how blessed I am to have the name of a house of the Lord! My parents chose a wonderful name for me! Praise Jesus! But your parents chose a boy's name for you. I suggest you change it to a Godly name, such as Sarah. Hello Dr, I have enjoyed this forum so far for the most part. yes, I'm aware of all of that. Its very unfortunate that the local church is fastly turning away from God. I hate this era I live in.
