I hope it's not some liberal college where they will indoctrinate you in Marxism and feminazism.This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Hello, S, and welcome. I see you come from Florida. Is your name perhaps a variation on a Mexican name? I am not a yankee but have never met a girl called Syd. I did once meet someone called Sidonie, but didn't much care for her (she was French).
Maybe it's a family name? I am named after my mother, who was named after her mother. Both of our fathers found it easier that way, with only one name to remember. But my husband said it was confusing enough with 2 women in the house without them both having the same name, so we have not carried on that tradition.
When I suggested to my husband that you might be named after your mother, he asked me to ask you if you are related to Sydney Biddle Barrows. I have no idea who she is, but are you?Vaccinated by the love of Jesus!!!Comment
