Hello all. I like to join Christian forums on the internet. I am from Serbia, Europe. I am Orthodox Christian, my Church was founded by 12 Apostles 2000 years ago. We decided which books will be part of the Holy Bible that we all read today. Welcome to praise Jesus with us. There are some things you may have been taught falsely in the Russian Orthodox Church regarding the Bible. Your "Bible" contains material that is superfluous and not dictated by God, such as Maccabees and as far as I know, Judith, Baruch, etc. And your translations are based on the Septuagint and not the actual Hebrew Bible. They are false teachings not contained in the Real Bible®.

Deuteronomy 12:32
What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

You see, no additions are acceptable. That said, it is always a pleasure to see Russians in the Forum. May I congratulate you for being under the iron fist rule of the Godly leader of the Slavic peoples, Mr. Putin, whose tremendous efforts are even as we speak guiding your peoples to the righteous path to God. If you embrace the Baptist Faith you may still have to chance to see Heaven one day with us.

Brother Elmer has already explained that the Orthodox church is a False Christian church, so it is fortunate that you have found your way here where you may (if it is God's Holy Will) find Salvation.

You will find the one True Bible, King James Version (1611) online here. This is the original, of course. I have been unable to find a Serbian translation, except in some "easy-to-read", New Testament only version.



Tell us something about your country. If (as you claim) it is in Europe, why has it been excluded from the EU when everyone else has been allowed to join? Do you think it has anything to do with the war criminals and massacres for which Serbia is so famous? How do your people plan to atone for this?

Orthodox Church cannot be false, it's first bishops were 12 Apostles, we wrote the Bible. While all your Church wrote are the rules of this forum which don't let People have free speech.

What is your problem with Serbia? USA has killed more People only in Iraq than Serbia has ever killed, kills or will ever kill in it's much longer history than the US one.

First i am not a nationalist, so i don't know what is your point with insulting Serbia? That is immature. And also you are deleting my links and not links of others.

Clearly you in your empty life without culture have never been present near the relic of a saint. By the grace of God, their bodies don't rot, nor they stink, but they spread the most divine fragrance that no scientist can explain. We don't worship saints, we ask them to pray to God for us, if you ask your friend to pray for you, does that mean you are worshiping your friend? What could you know after all with that racist Bible you wrote 1600 years after we Orthodox wrote the original one.

Not to mention his head, which is either in the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus (which by Protoslovac's reasoning would make him a muslim) or the Church of San Silvestro in Capite in Rome (which would make him a catholic) or buried in Antioch on the border of Turkey and Syria or buried somewhere in the south of France.

But I guess in the narrow world view of the Serbians, a fake hand beats a fake head, and even if it has been stolen and moved a dozen times having one proves that John the Baptist, despite his name, was some sort of Russian orthodox.
