Re: My Indtroduction
Welcome, friend!
What's your favourite Biblical verse?
Brother Marko, you ought to make a post. Your post count spells the Devil's number; I was forced to immerse my phone in Holy Water after seeing it, and it seems my laptop will go the same fate. Cast the devil out of your profile! Let 1 Peter 5:8 guide you!

Re: My Indtroduction
A good question, Brother Marko. And whenever someone says they have a "child", I can't help suspecting that it's a girl.
But welcome to our friendly forum, Sally. I notice that you use the phrase "Me and my husband" as the subject of a sentence in two of your posts. Is this usual in the local Reading dialect, or are you originally from a Cockney-speaking region? We welcome diversity here, but do not be surprised if people who speak proper American sometimes misunderstand you.
Remember 1 Corinthians 14:27-28. But as long as there is someone like me here to interpret, you should be fine.
Subject, of course, to 1 Corinthians 14:34.
Please be careful about using the word "indoctrinate". Landover Baptist teaches. We are not some amoral cult, like Cathlics, Jehovah's Witlesses and Wiccans, indoctrinating our children (or anyone else's).
Yours in Faith,
Joanna

Hello Mrs. Westfield.Originally posted by SallyWestfield View PostHello everyone. ...Me and my husband have one child, who is 6 years old later this year.
Tell me about the sin. Is it your sin, or your husbands, or maybe your parents or grandparents, or grandgrandparents. And what horrible sin that is?
I mean - why do you not get children?

Re: My Indtroduction
Mr Hutchins, I apologize for my useless rambling. My husband has considered moving to the USA, but our pastor informed him that English children are much easier to indoctrinate into our glorious faith.

Welcome Mrs. Westfield
Tell me all about your husbands thoughts on the Bible. Please do not embellish or as you brits sat 'prattle' on about anything not in the Bible. What God thinks is all we care about. Has he considered relocating to the US of A where real Christians are?

How do you prepare the potatoes? Are they mashed with the butter added? Or do you just boil them?

Re: My Indtroduction
I've never tried it with different amounts of butter so I can't say for sure, but I would assume that adding more would indeed bet nicer. I normally just use puff pastry to make it.

Re: My Indtroduction
Welcome, Mrs. Westfield, and you simply must share your potato and butter pie recipe! That sounds so delicious! Is the amount of butter you put in set in stone, or can you add more butter to make it even more tasty? What type of crust do you use for it?

Re: My Indtroduction
Hello Pastor Ezekiel. Me and my husband were considering moving away from England but decided to stay since my husband has been quite successful in converting Godless sodomites and atheists into Christian brethren. My husband is a school teacher, which makes it very easy to turn Godless English children into true Christians. My husband likes many different pies, if I had to guess I would say that his favourite is my home-made potato and butter pie. I do have most of my teeth remaining, only two have fallen out so far.

Welcome to God's favorite forum. Why are you living in godless England? What does your husband do? What's his favorite pie? Do you have any teeth at all?

Re: My Indtroduction
Thank you Elmer for your feedback. I will make sure I receive a stern beating as punishment for failing to provide this information. My favourite verse is: Titus 2:4
"That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children".

Dear Sally,
How nice to see a meek woman among the harlotry teenagers who harass us. Your hometown seems to be a hazardous place for believers. As you did not post your favorite verse I suggest this one, as it describes your situation quite well, doesn't it?
2 Corinthians 6:14
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Yours in Christ,
Elmer
