You must live far from Texas. Here, we are armed and retain the legal, spiritual and moral right to mow down anyone who causes us concern, fear or loathing.

Your name is spelled strangely. Do you speak with a lisp?

If you're a heretic, you've lost all credibility in your religion.

Credibility is important for religion, otherwise you're almost as bad as an atheist.

It was a joke. Pants on fire? People being burnt alive? Oh, never mind.

Heresy is bad for you and the religion it attacks.
I'll agree with the second part of this statement. Heresy of Jesus of Nazareth was bad for the Jewish religion; heresy of of Martin Luther was bad for the Catholic Church; etc, etc.

However, I do not understand the first part of that statement - who is "you" that you're referring to? The heretic? The one who calls someone else a heretic? Or are you referring specifically to me? Either way, there are many variables. Heresies usually address some existing problems within a religion. Sometimes the cure is even worse than the disease, but you cannot overgeneralize and say that all heresies are bad.

    Dear Friend,

As it turns out, an executioner in the U.S. does have the legal right to kill a person who is condemned to the capital punishment.
The Supreme Court has ruled that the death penalty is not a per se violation of the Eighth Amendment's ban on cruel and unusual punishment, but the Eighth Amendment does shape certain procedural aspects regarding when a jury may use the death penalty and how it must be carried out.
In addition, military personnel also can legally kill other persons during battle when they carry out the commands of their superiors.

This is but a tiny material reflection of the actual Spiritual situation of condemnation, capital punishment and carrying out the commands of our REAL superiors, God and Jesus.

    John 3:18
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

    Luke 1:35
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

    Yours in Christ,

    Elmer

Literally speaking, that would place you as a heretic, as heretics were commonly burnt alive at the stake.

    I'm deist, okay?
Interesting. I must admit that I do entertain this concept from time to time. I imagine God as a scientist, who created the world and now observes the rats in his lab, observing their behavior without any empathy for their suffering. That view does explain a lot the sheer amount of suffering and injustice in the world.

However, such thinking is sinful. So, I do some penitence after having such heretic thoughts, and then I come here, to try to gain the faith in a God who actually cares about those who follow His laws. I do envy the members of this lovely congregation for having such faith!

"Paganism" is basically a derogatory term given by followers of one religion to followers of other religions. There is/was no one single pagan religion - this term was generously applied by Christians to followers of many traditional European religions; religions which did not belong to Judeo-Christian tradition but venerated a variety of locally worshiped deities instead.

Followers of these religions have been systematically exterminated in the Middle Ages. Hence, there are no pagans today - at best, there are some neo-pagans, who are people who basically whitewashed historical and archaeological data about pagan religions, eliminating such important pillars of these religions as human sacrifice.

In conclusion, you're not a pagan, Mr. Concerned. Rather, you're a neo-pagan wannabe, either completely ignorant about history or a liar who tries to hide that dark, bloody history.

So, which one are you, Mr. "Pagan?"

Also, the pentagram is a symbol of Paganism (as long as it piffleing points up, down is for Satanists)

Adolph Hitler is THE prime example of an evolutionist atheist. Are you sure you want to use that as an argument here?

Then how are you going to cross-check if something is or is not mandated by God? Just because someone "feels" something is right does not make it so. We need an independent and correct source and that is what the KJV 1611 Bible provides us.

If you do not like that premise, then you do not understand or respect Christianity.

Instead of having sex with trees and rolling in the dirt like a pig, why not come to Heaven with us? It's grand fun!
