Re: I and I mon Rastafari

I have met with my counselor again today and she is in agreement that engineering is probably not the best match for my talents. I have only been here in Babylon for less than two months and already I have been an anesthesiologist an engineer and now- a solicitor! In Babylon this is called a lawyer and it is the most important job. I have seen the advertisements on TV. These lawyers help people who have been injured in accidents involving company vehicles or have asbestos related mesothelioma. Also a lawyer can be the President here even if he is a Black man.

When the Black man returns to Africa we will need many lawyers there. I can become rich with money and I can be the President of Babylon if I wish or the President of Africa or maybe both. A Black Kenyan lawyer is your president now. Why not President Natty Dread from Jamaica?

It's rather incredible. All we get in our cereal boxes are tiny plastic toys not even a repulsive midget could operate.

      Speaking of Midgets.

We had this one Abo that was no taller than 2 feet. He loved to tumble around like a circus clown. He was perfect for testing if our roads were level. So we thought. Lets treat these Abo's to a little recreation. We stood 10 Abo's in a Triangle, blindfolded them and tied their ankles together. We would then roll the 2 foot high circus Abo toward them with great speed and gusto. The one who knocked down the most Abo's won. Any Abo's left standing were flogged for not playing properly.

      THEY LOVED IT!

Re: I and I mon Rastafari

At this time I am learning about many things at the University of Wisconsin at Madison Wisconsin. I am now studying to be a lawyer but it is not yet the courses in law that I am taking. I am enrolled to find out about several things including American History 101 and English Literature of the nineteenth century. I have learned that Babylon was founded by pilgrims like me but white and I have been to several of the English Literature classes now and so I am wondering how those people captured the whole world and all the Black people. I am reading Wuthering Heights now and it is dreadful but not Natty Dread just dreadful.

I am also learning about the politics of Babylon. The people who started Babylon all owned slaves and they were old pirates! The professor in that political science class is a communist. I know communists. We have those in Jamaica too. I never knew a white man or a teacher who was a communist. None of the Methodists were communists.

My favorite class is the one where we shoot arrows with bows once a week and ride canoes one day a week also. Arrow shooting will help me if I have to hunt game for food in Africa.
