I am looking for the truth in life, and when I stumbled upon this website/forums, I found out you folks are baptist. And You guys seem different than this baptist. Why aren't his seminars on your front page? They are so informative and would aid in assist BIG TIME on helping people get their beliefs on the right path.
Watch his seminars for yourself, and don't judge him yet until you watched all of them, because he covers some past mentioned topic in a next part of his seminar. Here is the link to his first seminar:

Jesus must have guided your path here. As for Dr. Hovind, we appreciate him tremendously. As a Creation Scientist, I can tell you that I have the utmost respect to his work and I can modestly say that I have summarized some of his best publications here and here!



We'd still like to know more about you. How did you find Jesus? What are the verses that you cherish the most?

Let's see, I met Jesus during a strong prayer and then it was when I received the Holy Spirit when I was 9. I was born in a Christian family. I go to a Slavic (Russian) church. My father would always tell me stories about the history of how Christianity was forbidden in the Soviet Union, and they would go out in the woods and underground and have Churches without the KGB interfering. Just like my father, my grandfather was also a pastor and my dad said when they were having churches, God would always warn thim when the KGB were coming. My family moved to the USA and that's where I was born.
My favorite Bible verse besides John 3:16 is:
As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it also be in the day of the coming of the son of man.
I assume that there will not be that many true believers and saved people at the stated time, I think this verse can be discussed. So those are my origins I guess.

I am sort of disappointed, here is the reason. I have been tagged as 'Unsaved Trash'. Maybe put 'assumed unsaved' because we have no right to determine someone's eternity, that is God himself who decides that. And the fact that you welcome new people by calling them 'Trash', we are the sons and daughters of God, so why call a son or daughter of God trash?

By your actions and your posts you will be assessed and evaluated. I know it may come as a shock to you but the Internet has many impostors who actually are not what they claim to be. We also receive visitors like that. You see, this is not about you, you are getting the same treatment everyone does. This is about Jesus and His miraculous three-day sacrifice for us. This is about worship and not yielding to the secular seductions that swarm the world. You could put these things into perspective and concentrate on gaining new, precious insights into the Words of Jesus instead of worrying about your image. We heed to God's warnings and things take their time.

The battle is not about your (or my) emotions but between Jesus and the powerful opposition. If we keep that crystal clear in our minds, we need not dwell upon the irrelevancies of names.

The sad fact is that the atheists never get bored. They come here simply to make the same old anal sexualised so called jokes (is Leviticus 20:13 a joke?) and think that riding roughshod over a Christian's most cherished beliefs is a afternoon of fun for these yahoos.

In reply to your question about Dr Hovind's fine seminars, rest assured that we at LBC are great admirers. However, I'm sure you will understand that space on our front page is limited and we can't display absolutely everything up there all the time. The pastor in charge of these things makes sure that the display changes regularly, so that all important matters are brought to our attention.

We like to take our time getting to know folks and don't want to russian to anything. Through patient conversation and fellowship in the Lord, we will all eventually see, by the Grace of God, that you are just as disgusted by homosensuals, lesser cultures, and sinners as anyone else who follows the Bible exactly as it is written. You are very welcome here in our forums, my friend!

I also held some uneasiness within when first I appeared on this site. As a Pastor and Baptist Preacher I was offended to be called unsaved trash. Since then I have noticed that almost every person who comes here is an unsaved wretch come to vex Christians. Thus, it is only natural that the congregation assume a newcomer is unsaved until such time as he proves otherwise. Full membership may be open to you eventually, even though you have a Negroe sounding name.
