I have co-authorship credit on one article for 'Science'. I have written two published papers for the American Astronomical Society which I am particularly proud of, one of which was republished, with permission in the International Journal of Astronomy.
To clarify and to make sure I'm answering your question correctly, none of the journals you listed above carry any fiction, to the best of my knowledge. OMNI was a magazine of the mid to late 80's that carried a variety of fiction and non-fiction. Could you be thinking of this publication?
    Dear Sinner,

I appreciate your continued interest in the state of your Soul. It is a privilege to keep on treating your ignorance.

The journals I listed are the worst kind of fiction imaginable. The scholars who publish there may make reality-based observations (but not necessarily; check 2 Thessalonians 2:11 for details) but they use these data to promote their imaginary world that is constantly transmitted to them by Satan (but not exclusively; check 2 Thessalonians 2:11 for details). The fiction they write is clearly observable in their attitudes towards knows facts:
    • They neglect God's cosmology (Genesis 1:6).
    • They dismiss the separate Creation of Kinds (Genesis 1:11).
    • They fail to see the obvious answers to their enigmatic lack of knowledge, such as the Flood (Genesis 7:10).

There is obviously another kind of science fiction, also, and you must be referring to it. While it is also revolting in its promotion of false prophets (Stranger in a Strange Land by Heinlein; 1 John 4:1), sodomy (The Lord of the Rings by Tolkien; 1 Corinthians 6:9), communism (The Mars Trilogy by Robinson; Mark 12:17) and Satanism (all works by Dawkins; Judges 10:6), at least everyone can see through these hastily stitched and implausible space operas.

It is different with Nature and Science. Apparently, they are not the easily recognized form of fiction. There's only a little dialogue and the plot is poorly constructed. This prevents people from seeing the real plot, that of trying to usurp Jesus. God will not tolerate that!

    Deuteronomy 7:2
And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
2 Kings 18:25 - Am I now come up without the LORD against this place to destroy it? The LORD said to me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.

Through the replies, there were a few questions that were asked and I will try to remember them to the best of my recollection:

HP Lovecraft, huh? I take it you're on drugs.

Yes. It's Saturday night and at the moment, I'm lit up like Yankee Stadium. While I don't enjoy alcohol, marijuana or any type of CNS stimulants, I find opium facilitates the writing process, when used responsibly. There is rich and storied history of opium use by writers, including Dickens, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Poe and a host of other spectacular writers.

Are you here to further the work of Satan by continuing the vile attacks we must bear, brought on by Norwegians? In addition, you are a member of a religion that is known to be a Chinaman religion. There has been much discussion over the possibility that Induns are actually Chinamen. Do you subscribe to that theory?

I will answer these questions in the order in which they were asked.
I don't know, nor have I spoken with Satan or any person(s) claiming to be such. To that effect, I am ignorant of Satan's plans, designs, schedule, agenda or motives. As a character in the bible, I can say, he doesn't appear to be altogether bad and I'm at much pains to find a passage specifically detailing something he's done that was truly evil. He offered Jesus a job, as I recall. He made Job's life difficult, but not as difficult as God did. I seem to recall he killed Joe's brothers, but only after securing permission from God. But, I'm getting off track. Could be the opium. But to answer, no, I'm not here to attack anybody, but to enjoy the discussion and hopefully, broaden my horizons.
For the second portion of the question, I fear, I must abdicate pending further investigation into Induns. Is this a race, culture or secular religious group? I look forward into reading more and I will return once I've had time to formulate an informed opinion.

Uh, are you sure it was the Bible you read?

Yes, I believe so. KJV that begins with Genesis and ends with Revelations (or, more accurately, the Revelation of John). However, Mr. White was kind enough to provide me with the passages I sought. It wasn't a matter of me having not read them, but a matter of having interrupted them differently.

Thank you again to all those who took the time to respond and welcome me! A warm group indeed!-

I do beg your pardon but you appear to have missed out where I posted the verse that tells us about mongols.

      Lev 21:18-21 For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous, Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded, Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;

      Would you care to respond?

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
