Hello guys, i dont know how i stumbled upon this site, probably our lord Jesus guided me.

I did some reading in the section called "Creation science" at first i thought that you all were being sarcastic and that this is actually a comedy website,but then i realised that you are all a bunch of morons


Seriously people, this is like a society of low iq people, you are litteraly the dumbest people i ever met on the internet.

Well to be honest, i've never been to any church nor have i read the bible, since i belive that religion is nothing else but a tool for manipulation. I mean, look at these guys, its a perfect example
If a god really exists, these people here are the first one going to hell just look at all those racist emoticons

Dear Miss Lucy,

I must say that you have constructed your worldview on a foundation that for an outside observer is much more fragile than ours. I do admit that there are some superficial similarities: I believe (in Jesus, obviously); you also base your assertions on belief.

However, we do have evidence. Lots of it, but you have by definition refused to even look at that evidence. Obviously, I'm referring to the Bible. Are you lazy perhaps? Or are you afraid that you might hear a voice talking to you, the voice of Jesus?

At the moment, your only piece of "evidence" to call religion a "tool for manipulation" is "us guys". Well, "us guys" have studied our enemies in detail the sacred texts of the evolutionist heresy including On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life and On The Tendency of Varieties to Depart Indefinitely from the Original Type and been able to scrutinize them in an unbiased manner by comparison fo facts (the Bible).

You could do as much. That might make you a worthy opponent. Obviously, this depends on your goals. If you are here (i) to boost your ego, I think that it is no longer necessary, you've reached the pinnacle there together with all the other 16-year-old girls. On the other hand, if you (ii) wish to make us listen to you and take you seriously, you should know your subject matter, i.e., the Bible. By reading it through you might find your favorite verse, as well.

Simply untrue. If you HAD read the Bible(KIV1611) you would know that True Christians(tm) are perfect and will NOT be going to Hell.

Bible is just a book, what's the logic in following a book written 2 thousand years ago, anyone could have written it.


The religion itself was invented by some smart people, so that they can control a masses of stupid people. You just tell them, go to war because that's what god wants; give me your money because that's what god wants etc, just look at yourselves hahah

Can you explain to me, why are you a Christian and not a muslim for example? Why do you belive that the our god is actualy Jesus and not allah? Is it because you were raised in a Christian family and your parents taught you so or some other reason?

Actually I was a staunch atheist until I woke up and found Jesus and I spent a lot of my early years in Tunisia.

I did not become a Christian until my late 30s when one of my patients successfully witnessed to me during one of our sessions.

So let me ask you this: if people are only Christian because they are brought up in a Christian culture why are you NOT a Christian if YOU were brought up in a Christian culture?

Your very existence refutes your position.

I'm not a christian nor religious person because my brain doesn't allow me to belive in a book, when you look at the history of what we know about the world, you see a noticeable pattern. Natural explanations of things have been replacing supernatural explanations of them. Like a steamroller. Why the Sun rises and sets. Where thunder and lightning come from. Why people get sick. Why people look like their parents. How the complexity of life came into being. I could go on and on.

All these things were once explained by religion. But as we understood the world better, and learned to observe it more carefully, the explanations based on religion were replaced by ones based on physical cause and effect. Consistently. Thoroughly. Like a steamroller. The number of times that a supernatural explanation of a phenomenon has been replaced by a natural explanation? Thousands upon thousands upon thousands.
Now. The number of times that a natural explanation of a phenomenon has been replaced by a supernatural one? The number of times humankind has said, "We used to think (X) was caused by physical cause and effect, but now we understand that it's caused by God, or spirits, or demons, or the soul"?


Exactly zero.


Sure, people come up with new supernatural "explanations" for stuff all the time. But explanations with evidence? Replicable evidence? Carefully gathered, patiently tested, rigorously reviewed evidence? Internally
consistent evidence? Large amounts of it, from many different sources?


Again -- exactly zero.


Given that this is true, what are the chances that any given phenomenon for which we currently don't have a thorough explanation -- human consciousness, for instance, or the origin of the Universe -- will be best explained by the supernatural?


If I see any solid evidence to support God, or any supernatural explanation of any phenomenon, I'll reconsider my disbelief. Until then, I'll assume that the mind-bogglingly consistent pattern of natural explanations replacing supernatural ones is almost certain to continue.
