I will respond fully later, but with regard to Edward Jenner, I meant that he lived around the Victorian era, apologies if this was not clear. Also, his method was not innoculation. He injected people with the harmless cowpox, and because the cowpox and smallpox strains are very similar, the vaccination against cowpox protected against the deadly smallpox. I have a very clear understanding of immunology, having been learning about it for many years, in education and in my own time, my explanation was a simplified version for those here who do not understand it fully, not those who do (such as yourself).
    Dear Person,

You're not really making progress in your posting strategy. It is always prudent to check the data before exposing ignorance.

Is cowpox harmless? Well, disastrous skin pustules that leave permanent scarring may obviously be harmless to you but I dare say that many victims would disagree.

Rarely, the cutaneous lesions may become generalized before resolving. Ocular findings include conjunctivitis, periorbital edema, and corneal involvement. Enlarged painful local lymph nodes often are observed. Necrotizing lymphadenitis has been reported.
I admit that mortality is rare, but a course of up to 12 weeks of painful skin conditions is still quite serious, albeit not nearly as bad as the disease that Jesus will spread during the Tribulations that are going to begin very, very soon!

    Revelation 16:2
And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

As a student in secular science, you must understand that this is an appeal to authority. In science the content decides if a text/experiment/result is reliable and accurate. Obviously, education can give you a solid base, but Harvard professors can still produce useless studies and schoolgirls come up with something brilliant. Your credentials are not under scrutiny (except the Spiritual Credentials) but the content. That is something you should refine. A good informative post is good regardless of its author.

    Yours in Christ,

    Elmer
2 Kings 18:25 - Am I now come up without the LORD against this place to destroy it? The LORD said to me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.

Jenner was born in 1749 during the reign of George II, lived through the reign of George III and died in 1823, during the reign of George IV. He therefore lived in the Georgian era and the Regency.
