Re: Howdy from a noobie
Hey there Alma, how are you? I am fine.
Can you tell me any Mormon secrets? Via personal message, of course, so they remain secrets.
I want to know everything!

Re: Howdy from a noobie
Hello, I've met mormons occasionally and one of their idolatrous temples got a nice lightning strike on Christmas day recently, I saw it it was great.
If you would like to respond to Mr Pendergast's thread you may do so here he has included a useful index.
I was referred to something called The Pearl Of Great Price the other day to read about The Book Of Abraham but knowing that Scripture was completed many centuries ago with the future history God wanted us to know about revealed on Patmos as recorded by John naturally I was reluctant to read on.
None of the mormon documents can be Scripture, it follows, even though that's how they're listed.
How on earth do you reconcile the facts with your delusion?

And you forget, you're talking to a Baptist. I have God on my side, a casserole in the oven, and at least three of my children are whimpering around here clutching sore bottoms, but I'm not too busy to rebuke your sinful hide for persecuting me.Originally posted by friuliveneto View PostYou forget, you're talking to a Mormon. I can make up scripture faster than you can cite from your limited 66 books. Whatever you claim, I can raise you with something new and exciting.

Seriously?Originally posted by Pim Pendergast View PostHello, Alma, and welcome to the forum! I would be very interested to hear how you can still believe in the Book of Momon despite all the evidence suggesting it was a fabrication by Joseph Smith.
And just so you know, even unsaved trash can reply to existing threads, so if you want to respond directly to my BoM thread (or any other thread), you can do so.

As exciting as that may sound to you, such things can also work against you. Especially if a person happened to drop by that is able to make up even bigger nonsense than you are.
Kind regards,
Roland

You'll burn for that, you know.
Which is fine by Jesus (Psalm 2:4). Stubborn people don't deserve eternal paradise (Luke 16:19-31).

That seems pretty consistent with my experience. We generally avoided those types and usually tried to convert thoroughly indecent, atheist, communists. --Remember, "they that be whole need not a physician." We were basically looking for trash rather than Christians.Originally posted by Joanna Lytton-Vasey View PostHow very prejudiced you are! ...They were just refusing to engage with her, a thoroughly decent, God-fearing, True Christian woman.

How very prejudiced you are! Had you ever visited Gorizia (though I really don't recommend it - we went there once to help Dorothy move back to England and the food was disgusting) then you would know that the main street has broad sidewalks, incorporating cycle paths, separated from the traffic by grass verges.Originally posted by friuliveneto View PostI suspect those boys avoiding eye contact were doing so on bicycles trying not to become road kill from a frenetic Italian traffic model.

Welcome to our friendly forum, dear, and thank you for the kind introduction! You're welcome to join any conversation, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts about Brother Pim's painstaking, and Spirit-Led expose of the Mormon bibles.
