    Greetings fellow Christians

Hello. I am a Christian learning how ensure that after death I will inhabit the eternal Kingdom of Heaven. I already know and am following the basic rules - read the KJV bible thoroughly, and follow it word for word. I joined this forum hoping that it would help me on tips as to how to best follow the bible. I realise that this is not an easy task, but since everybody here is so friendly I'm sure I will know what things are biblically correct in no time!

Welcome to our friendly forum, young lady! You'll find this a one stop shop to praising Jesus in All Things!

What is your favourite Bible(KJV1611), what church do you go to and when did you start your walk with Christ?

    YIC
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

      AMEN!

Welcome to our forum, dear. May the LORD bless you and rebuke you as necessary to gain your eternal reward. And I pray you accept your guidance before you are forced to accept eternal damnation.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Thank you for this warm welcome! I am not sure what you mean by what my favourite bible is. It is quite obviously the KJV , but as you put that in the question I'm not sure you meant that. If you mean bible verse, then it has to be Isaiah 40:31 as it shows us just how much faith in God can do for us. I attend St. Michaels Church. You've probably never been there though, as it's on Bere Island, where I live.
I found Christianity a couple of years ago when I was walking by the local church. It was raining really heavily, and by coincidence there was a church sermon on in five minutes. I decided to go in, just for shelter from the rain. As it went on, I found myself listening more and more in amazement. I went back home and found out more about Christianity, and I decided to go to the church again next week. And the week after. And the week after that. My belief in God just sort of... snowballed from there.

No, I am not a Catholic, although the so many people are around where I live, it is nearly impossible to find any true Christians. When get enough money I plan to move out and to America, but for now I have to stay put.

I sympathize with your predicament. And yet you attend St Michael's - is that not a catholic institution? In your shoes, I would be inclined to drive to Cork Baptist Church.

Cork Baptist church is hundreds of miles away - more than I can afford to travel. However, if I keep going the way I am, then I should have enough money by next year or so. I have heard that proper Christian churches are quite common in America, yet alas this is not true in Ireland. Especially on Bere Island. I'd say about only 1000 people live there. As the old saying goes, "To the west there was nothing. Except America."

Greetings Xenthia. I welcome you even though I am not an official member of this forum. This is a forum for Baptists who are white people though they allow POC's to participate. I am a POC and a Black man who is Rastafari. I see from your introduction that you are from Ireland and you have a Black name. I have asked many Irishmen what they have done with the Black Irish but I have never received an acceptable answer. Are you at long last a Black Irishman woman? I have feared that the white people in Ireland killed all of the Black Irish and it would be very nice to find some still alive and unkilled by the English.

Goodness, the distance has increased very considerably since I was there - as has the population! Is Bere Island floating off into the Atlantic or something?

Well dear, why don't you pray to the Lord thy God to open up a True Church nearby? If you are indeed faithful unto Him and abide in Him, and if indeed you pray with unwavering expectation, then He will grant your prayer. It's a promise (Psalm 91:14-16; Isaiah 41:17; Matthew 21:22; Luke 11:9-13; John 14:13-14; John 15:7; John 16:23-24).

                            Hello, Dear!

Don't worry about what church you go to. All Christians find their way to God in their own way.

I was a pagan for many years but I decided to stop being one when I became Catholic (I liked the services) but I had to stop that when I realised that women could not be priests.

I guess you could say I follow my own way now, because I have seen Design in all things and I don't think the bible is the only way to God.

Follow your heart and believe what feels right: God made you the way you are, nobody should feel obligated to do otherwise.
