Atheists have no moral compass either and are very big on astrology, making all sorts of wild claims which directly contradict The Bible. The humans God created a little over six millennia ago are exactly same as humans today, except for the degenerate forms who opted out of God's covenant by not being present when their father Ham disgraced himself, thereby ruining themselves forever. It is reported that Noah was physically unlike the denizens of his era and that he was a Godly man. He only had one wife. He had three sons. Shem and Japeth were blessed. Ham('s son) was cursed for what he did and that degeneration is obvious.

    Genesis 9:22-25

    Astrologism proposes, amongst other idiocies, that the sun coalesced in a sea of viruses whose constituent parts were synthesised in exploding stars. In that environment, they announce, sufficient temperatures and pressures existed and as the elemental soup cooled down (prior to or during planet formation) the protoviruses could evolve. Or await for host organisms to evolve. Or anything else they fancy as long as it's got the word evolve in it. What does The Bible say?

    However you are completely correct about the lies that science tells us about their size and positions.
    Mr O'fagan has posted scripture to demonstrate that planets do actually exist. That does not mean that they are other worlds or gods or orbiting anything, indeed God is very clear that they are none of those things and that anyone who says that they are is utter filth deserving to be executed. Astrology is a form of prostitution but worse - much worse. Not all harlots have to be killed - but all astrologists do and anyone who follows their satanic lies about what their false planets are is similarly doomed. Read what God says about societies where the whorish demons of astrology are venerated:

    Ezekiel 24:12-13

    We know that the earth is not a planet orbiting the sun or the moon.
    Actual planets are cycled through a range of different positions inside the firmament and God tells us why.

    Genesis 1:14

    When people start making up lies about stars and planets and moons and suns it is to seduce as many people as posible into debauchery. That is how we know that filthy astrologists are indeed lying when they tell us that Jupiter (which is easy enough to see) is another planet like the earth which orbits a sun that's just another star and that we must worship them, an activity requiring extensive fornication.

    That is why we can say with confidence that their mystical planets are false and that they are all scum. And because they are scum they imagine themselves to be made out of viruses. Next they start persecuting Christians by telling us WE are made out of viruses TOO all without quoting any valid evidence to show that viruses and planets formed in a primordial soup made from exploding stars predating the world we live in, infecting it and evolving into humans over thousands of millions of years! Thank God for Jesus and thank Him for giving us The Bible to refute false claims when they're presented as in this thread so many have been.

    HALLELUJAH!

    This is a place for True Christians™ to gather around and worship the Lord. Unsaved trash such as yourself, don't belong here. Either drop to your knees and let Him into your heart, or click that little red X on your top right screen.

    Not believing in things you cannot measure and quantify makes no sense.

    Sure, wind blows, we can tell how fast it blows, but how much?
    Love exists, but what is it? It makes us feel good, right? Nice and warm and squishy. But is one love better than another?
    Dark is peaceful. You can say an absolute absence of light is the most dark and the most peaceful. But if that were true, why do children scream out in terror in the dark?

    No friend, Some things you have to take on faith, no matter how little sense and logic there is. If you do not like it but other people do, it is probably because you are wrong and they are right.

    Isaiah 29:14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

    Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

    Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

    John 11:7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded
    John 11:8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear unto this day.

    John 12:39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,
    John 12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

    1st Corinthians 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
    1st Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
    1st Corinthians 1:19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
    1st Corinthians 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

    1st Corinthians 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
    1st Corinthians 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
    1st Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
    1st Corinthians 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
    1st Corinthians 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

    1st Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
    1st Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

    1st Corinthians 3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
    1st Corinthians 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
    1st Corinthians 3:20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

    Jude 1:16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
    Jude 1:17
    But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
    Jude 1:18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who shou

    Interesting how the truly ignorant (that's you) always think that it is the normal people (that's us) who are ignorant.

    I get that you are in a hard to break cognitive dissonance bubble, but I am going to give it a try anyway. After all, Jesus is on my side (1st John 1:7).

    Imagine a huge group of people where everyone (that's us), except one person (that's you), believes the same truth. Even the most stupid retard ever would agree in this case the only logical conclusion can be that you are wrong and that we are right.

    I am glad I could clear that up for you. Now I feel less guilty about forgetting my wedding anniversary for the 57th time.

    Sure! There are lots of reasons to believe. In fact, some time ago I wrote out a few myself. You can read them and join the conversation here: Reasons To Believe (1 Peter 3:15).
