If you can show me a post in which Dana has preached hate, I will eat my hat and share pics in real time.

Re: Intro
That's funny, because I am confused as well! On the one hand everyone on this forum preaches hate, but the message the Pastor provided is a message of love and what true Salvation is.Originally posted by Dana723 View PostI...am very confused here, Ms. Xanax. Re: Intro
The Bible says Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to "help" Christians. We need the Bible, or course. The Bible is their to guide us in our life and we need to obey what it says. All I am saying is that the Holy Spirit gives us the discernment to understand scripture and He assists us in our daily lives. The Holy Spirit is powerful and is just as important as the Word of GodOriginally posted by Sister Jeren View PostI see a lot of "I feel" and "I personally believe" in her posts.
While feeling God and Jesus pulling you in a certain direction is a marvelous thing, without Biblical proof those "feelings" are meaningless (not to mention dangerous!)
I could easily say "I feel like the Holy Spirit is guiding me to have s*x with an animal"
but the Bible clearly states that that is a very big no-no (Leviticus 20:16)
Feelings without Biblical backing are the whispers of Satan and must be avoided.

Because the actual message did not say what the message title says. That is what confuses me.Originally posted by Dana723 View PostI...am very confused here, Ms. Xanax. You believe exactly what Ms. Ethelreda posted but then you say that you don't?
Side note: I am a dud.

I...am very confused here, Ms. Xanax. You believe exactly what Ms. Ethelreda posted but then you say that you don't?Originally posted by Xanax View PostThank you for this link. THIS IS THE GOSPEL!!! This is exactly what I believe and what the Bible teaches. To be honest, I have been doubting that some of you are Christians, based on the responses. But if you believe this with all your heart, then I have no doubt that you are saved.
The only questions I have is that the title, says that Jesus did not die for everyone's sins. But He did. He died for everyone, but only those who accept His free gift is saved. But, its is a choice. We can either accept that He died for us or reject it.

Re: Intro
And when that voice tells you that the Bible is wrong, there's your easy out of following the hard stuff (like killing witches, homosexuals, and non-virgin brides that have been properly paid for). Following anything except your own morality, actually, which is why you're not Christian.Originally posted by Xanax View PostThe voice in my head is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God.

There we have it: the voice in your head is your guide, ahead of the Bible. You're no Christian.Originally posted by Xanax View PostYes the Holy Spirit convicts me that it is wrong, but it also says so in the Bible

So God told you that that part of the Bible is accurate but other parts are pure hooey?Originally posted by Zaranith View PostYes the Holy Spirit convicts me that it is wrong, but it also says so in the Bible
When He convicts you, were you lead away in Shekels?

But is it "you really should stop that or at least feel kinda sorta guilty-ish while you carry on" wrong or "you need to die, immediately, and with no appeal" wrong?Originally posted by Zaranith View PostHomosexuality is wrong...
