Thank you for sharing this knowledge....I have never watched NBA basketball as this sort of thing is something I would never allow into my home. I would much rather read the KJV 1611 Bible. It's bad enough I have the misfortune of see negroes in person let alone on tv.

Being the home state of Negro Basketball Association player Michael Jordan is a major blot on North Carolina, but the fact that they sent Jesse Helms to the Senate no less than FIVE TIMES more than makes up for it. Welcome to the forum. Listen to us and you'll learn. The words of the KJV 1611 Bible are all you really need to know (2 Timothy 3:16-17) but we can certainly help elucidate the finer points of God's glorious word.

It's very pleasant to meet a visitor from another great Baptist church who really seems to get what we're all about here at Landover--spreading all of God's Glorious Word.

It's my privilege to be here. The thing that gets under my skin the most is that these so called "Churches" water down and cherry pick the feel good scriptures to make people feel good. Now is not the time to do that. We need more Churches who WILL preach hard and believe in preaching Genesis to Revelation and EVERYTHING in between. Just wanted to put it out here!

So true. Although, as I'm sure you know, once you feel the Holy Ghost working within you, nothing brings a smile to your face like a good Biblical smiting.

One thing giving the lie to humanist agendas concerns time elapsed. Everyone drowned in The Flood will resurface for judgement. How long ago was that? Whether a few thousand or a few hundred or even a few million years ago is problematic for them. How many would have rotted away to nothing or been eaten? How many would have been subducted into the world's mantle? How many dissolved by subterranean volcano lava? Or sucked in to and spat out from eruptions to fall as acid rain? It's why they deny judgement, supporting their delusions with made-up theories having no basis in Scripture just so they can laugh at God.

He only wants to save us.

Good points MitzaLizalor. If that's the best they can do is just laugh at God, Pretty sad if you ask me. Gal 6:7 has something to say about their mockery.

7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.


I believe that those who sow mockery to God shall reap the fires of hell come the judgement. and I agree with you 100%.

I was not expressing an opinion. John's vision on Patmos explains what will happen and the sequence of events. Shipping has always interested me and that submariners (for example) when Jesus returns, who'd drowned or been trapped inside sunken submarines what a horrible way to die recently some tiny Japanese vessels stuck on the ocean floor presumably occupied being located caused me to reflect on God's assurances regarding the dead at sea, will neither miss out on The Rapture nor avoid condemnation was a comfort.

Perhaps you've heard that he was "on the stuff" having eaten contaminated rye bread or mistaken toadstools for mushrooms but that is not what The Bible records. God proof-read His stuff and let's not mess about here – there are plenty of cults requiring "drink this" or "eat that" having nothing to with God – surely John would know if that had happened?

Revelation is fully a part of God's Inerrant Word.

Yes. I am teaching them RME and English and many other subjects, yes. I am thinking that you are trying to please these christians but I am thinking that you could be getting a better education if you were studying comparative religion. Yes, I am thinking that I might be offending you but the religions are like the story of the blind men and the elephant. The Christian is touching the lingam and thinking that he has to be fighting against sexuality, the Scientologist is touching the ivory and thinking about the cash, the Buddhist is touching the eyelashes and thinking that the elephant has been reincarnated as a blade of grass, yes, and the Jainist is touching the ground and worried about the mouse that the elephant might crush, and the Jihadist is touching the butthole and waiting for the bomb to seize.
