Why would you think it's acceptable to come onto an American forum written in the American language and start posting in Chinese? That's what I want to know.
I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
      Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!

Exactly so, dear Brother Lukes. Why, judging from Akira's introductory message, it looks like she has made quite the mess here -- scattering a bunch of Chinese chopsticks all over . Surely, she could see the image of the at the top of our forum page, and notice that He is draped in the blessed Stars & Stripes flag of the glorious ! One would think (or hope) that she would have taken that as a clue that this is not a foreign "third world" place, and that we speak English in , and not some strange, gobbeldygook Chineza, or Japaneza, or whatever it is!

Wooah Mr. Hutchins. Is that the entire Communist manifesto, or what the gooks study in place of Bible class?
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

A very verbose language, then. If all their communication is like that, it's no wonder that the food always arrives cold.

                  Re: シナンジュ

                  Hi

God understands everything about everything He made. We understand God because everything He needed to tell us is explained in The Bible.
I Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Confucius does not have the mind of Christ. That doesn't mean everything he said was false, for example if he said that toxins are poisonous that would be true. It would also be a tautology but mathematical equations are also tautologies, for example in 1+1 = 2 both sides of the = sign are the same. That no more makes the statement false than Confucian claims about toxins would be, if any were made.

It's all in the big picture. "The Confucian Way To Dynamic Living" is not a thing. God is the only true dynamo in this or any other universe: only through Him is real change possible. In other arenas, how can there be change? We're born imbued with a sin nature and live with a sin nature. Whatever we do or say expresses the sin nature (even if occasional statements are factual) and we die in sin. That is stasis, the best Confucius could hope for. God however is not static. God is dynamic.

                  God is Jesus.

                        Re: シナンジュ

There's a lot of new ideas going around. Some of them have improved our wellbeing, for example better food production. Jesus understood agriculture and used His knowledge to help us understand His message and our need for Redemption. In this passage, Jesus includes some information about agriculture which is still true today.
                        MARK 4:3-8 [Jesus speaking]
Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow: And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up. And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: but when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit. And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

That enables more bread and cakes and pies to be made which reduces hunger. There are "other ways of knowing" about growing food, sometimes people waving crystals about or jumping up and down dressed in leaves and a ridiculous mask going Ungaungaunga-d-d-d-d-d-d-zzzzzzzbt Ibbidy Ibbidy Ibbidy etc., they mostly starve. But what is Redemption?

God explains how after He made the world and created Adam, the first human, something terrible happened. You can read about in Genesis 2–3 where the outcomes are explained (one of which affected agriculture) and those outcomes still apply today. Jesus came down from Heaven to be murdered to redeem those accept His love from that dreadful outcome. That's not a remedy which would occur to us using human reason and logic BECAUSE the human mind is just a small (and therefore incomplete) part of the universe.

There's a lot of new ideas going around, contradicting God's message. That seeds under different conditions will yield different amounts of grain has not changed. New ideas about agriculture do not contradict Jesus. Other new ideas—causes of disease, the stars, Adam never existed, and so on—DO contradict God, DO contradict Jesus and DO contradict The Bible. That is why it's so important to compare new ideas with reality.

Reality is described in The Bible.
