Don't fret over it too much. It's just a matter of staying true to God's Word and sucking up showing reasonable respect to our senior staff.

I do, yes. Unfortunately, there are those who just don't want to understand the consequences of making such errors. I don't know if it would be an appropriate comparison, but, I kind of liken it to Revelations now that I think about it more.

I would add, Sir, again with all due respect, if any, to handi's intervention, inserting a comma prior to and after the "but" is one too many commas.

If they want to know if I do tithe, yes, I do. God does not want us to cheat Him when it comes to tithing. As to how much, when I first started back when I first started attending Church, I gave $100 a month to start out with. As my pay from work increased, my tithing increased too.

Daniel is also an interesting book. He endured so much for God but was supported throughout every ordeal. A valuable historical record, mostly written by Daniel – chapter 4 for instance was written by King Nebuchadnezzar.

Satan is plugging communism very strongly and communists are compelled to state that Daniel is not a real person. Or they could be shot. So there is that element of "choice" I suppose but what happens when they get to Nebuchadnezzar? Is he made up hundreds of years later too? And later than what? If the events didn't happen there's no "later than" or "before" in the same way as there's no later than (or before) Jack Beanstalk.

This is why Christians cannot be communists.

I agree, for him to go through what he did for God despite the cost is amazing to say the least, I have to wonder if today's people who claim to be Christians would have that same heart and commitment Daniel did? It just makes me wonder.

Robert, you seem like a decent kind of guy. I may have been ubrupt in our correspondence but that's only because I have the highest standards. Robert, I've never liked an atheist before, but I must say that you are unusually polite and respectful for a non-believer. Most of the time atheists here are either trolling, which is just obnoxious, trying to convert us, which is terribly rude, or asking us to listen to My Chemical Romance, which is simply cruel.

I am glad you're here, and it makes me sad that someone as kind as you are is destined to burn in Hell for all eternity if you don't change your ways and get right with God. I will pray for you as fervently as I pray for a string of Trump Presidential campaign victories in 2024, 2028, 2032, and beyond.
