  • Atheist who has joined. I am here for fun. Hope you like me

Hello. I am an atheist but I joined the forum for fun. I like to talk to Christians.

Re: Atheist who has joined. I am here for fun. Hope you like me

Please let us know your favorite Bible verse and how you came into the bosom of Christ. Also, tell us the Church you go to, or if not then where you worship.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

Rocco--Glad to have you here. As the good doctor requested, tell us more about yourself. As you an atheist because some priest touched you inappropriately?

Rocco, are you an atheist because you don't believe in God or because you are mad at Him?

Rocco, do you go on dog walker forums and announce you don't own a dog?

If you do, it kinda makes it look like you want a dog.

Get what I am saying? By coming here you admit you need Pastor Zeke and Jesus in your life.

My, the silence. I think Mr. Atheist found Jesus and is not posting because he is in church. Praise Jesus.

This is the quickest conversion I have ever witnessed - one and done. A miracle worthy of Pastor Pistle.

Is that an Italian name? There are foreign posters here who may well offer you inducements to convert to Rome which, as Baptists, we could not recommend. Once you read The Bible (as you will have done in order to include a verse of particular interest or support to you) and have seen how high a price Jesus was prepared to buy you for, joining a pagan [OK, maybe they didn't know any better] and blasphemous [because they did know better] sect is like throwing it all back in His face. It's very difficult to see a way back from that.

I like the KJV because it has words like piss in it but I don't actually believe in it.

Thankfully I was never molested, but that is because I grew up Protestant.

Don't believe in him. I believe if God exists he will let me into heaven when I die. But I don't think he exists.

Hello, RoccoJustAName, and welcome to the Landover Baptist Church. You haven't yet said why you are an atheist, so it's probably the usual excuse, you want to sin but not be punished for it.

The bad news is that, atheist or not, God will judge you for your sins, and you're currently on a path to eternal damnation in the lake of fire. The good news is that, if you'll let Him, Jesus will wash those sins away and let you spend an eternity with good people like us. As God's favorite church™, we're in a unique position to help you see the Truth that is contained in God's Word, the Holy Bible, if only you're willing to look for it.

It remains to be seen whether we will like you, and vice-versa. But Jesus told us to love our neighbor, and even to love our enemies, so we love you. Who knows, you might even find a spiritual home here with us. That has happened with atheists before.

Not that I am a protestant, or want to take much time looking into other false beliefs, but here's what I found with a quick search.

They emphasize justification by faith alone (sola fide) rather than by faith with good works; the teaching that salvation comes by divine grace or "unmerited favor" only, not as something merited (sola gratia); the priesthood of all believers; and either affirm the Bible as being the sole highest authority (sola scriptura "scripture alone") or primary authority (prima scriptura "scripture first") for Christian doctrine, rather than being on parity with outside sacred tradition.
So why do you believe that God, if He exists, would let you into Heaven, despite you not believing in Him? That doesn't seem to be consistent with the Bible, nor your Protestant upbringing.

                      John 3:18

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Once we've established that Christianity, if accurate (even most of the other false denominations of it), only allow those who believe into Jesus into Heaven, I think we can skip straight to one of my favorite threads here, in showing that Christianity is the best bet of all major religions:

If the atheist is wrong, however, then he will pay for it by burning in Hell for eternity while the Christian receives eternal bliss in Heaven.

The situation can be summed up by the following chart, showing the payoffs of the two beliefs compared to the truth or falsehood of those beliefs.

                      .Christianity is TrueAtheism is True
                      ChristianHeaven (+∞)Dead (0)
                      AtheistHell (-∞)Dead (0)
As you can see, the atheist gains nothing by being right, and the Christian loses nothing by being wrong. You would have to be really bad at math to think there is any benefit to atheism.

As long as your heart is beating, you still have time to accept Jesus into it!

Are you suggesting that when all the Roman temples were amalgamated into one, a process we call catholicism —— in the sense of homologating a very varied collection of gods goddesses idols angels rituals and muttering, all now running under a single pontiff what a garish nightmare it must be (with apologies to legitimate garish nightmares) —— they mistook Christianity for just another pagan temple tradition?

can you spot the illegitimate garish nightmare?

Real atheists deny the Holy Spirit (Mark 3:28–29), otherwise they are just like transgenders that haven't cut their tallywhacker off.
                          Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.

Young Mr. Reeko (I know you are young because your posts do not reflect the wisdom of age), I suppose you have the atheist's explanation of where the universe came from. Atheists say, "It has always been here."

What does "always" mean? There is no other explanation except God put the universe here. After that it was Adam and Eve and here we are. You really need some in depth training in the science of Christianity.

Fun? Loving God is not fun, it is work. you have to prove your dedication and commitment to Him 24/7/365 with an unerring dedication.
Fun is a deflated whoopee pillow under your mother-in-laws cushion. Then she queefs....
                              Consider this:
You're riding your bike, all proud because your dad took off the training wheels. A Good Humor truck comes and runs over your gut, causing your body to burst and spray entrails all over the street.

                              You're dead
Whether due to your own disgusting sinning or the Lords divine will, you are dead. Instantly your soul begins falling towards the black abyss above Hell. The falling seems eternal as you gather speed and the heat begins to grow. Then you notice a red dot below you growing larger by the second, this is the Lake in the center of Hell. It is the brightest point in Hell therefore it is visible for a great distance. Keep in mind that the farther you fall, the further from Christ you are.
As you gain speed and the flames become apparent you may wonder how you can stop this from happening. The answer is simple. It's too late and you can't, you're doomed. Your soul is damned and it WILL happen. The temperature is now approaching the unbearable limit as your flesh begins to smoulder and ignite and you continue to build speed as you plummet toward the now visible boiling Lake of Fire. You can almost make out individual souls thrashing in the magma with your flaming eyesockets. Soon you will join them, your terror mounts as your screams become gargled with the stench of Hells evil smell. The heat becomes excruciating as you notice your skin peeling away and your bones becoming visible and black. Flaming and screaming in anguish, you splashdown into the acidic brimstone of Satans Lake at around 250 MPH. You are instantly vaporized and reformed as a tormented soul writhing in absolute terror in the deafening depths of the Lake that Burns Eternal. The pain is beyond comprehension as you gnash your teeth so hard they shatter in your mouth. Satan periodically plucks you from the flames to savagely rape repeatedly and casually tosses you to his infernal minions to rip apart and rape at will, only to be reformed and have this scenario repeated...over and over and over, forever.
Is it still funny mocking our mission to Save© your soul? We want you to enjoy Heaven and eternal praise and worship at the feet of our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ.

Unless you are Saved™ by Jesus Christ and His Holy website and favorite church, Landover Baptist, there is no other way to avoid this.

Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
