  • Greetings!!!(And some questions)

Hello dear Landovers! I've been reading your posts for the last couple of months but now I've decided to get one step beyond and register to this godly forum.

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from your show and try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination.... End of debate. I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some other elements of God's laws and how to follow them.

    1. Leviticus 25:44 states that I may possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

    2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as santioned in Exodus 21:7 In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

    3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness_Lev.15:19-24 The problem is how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

    4. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord-Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

    5. I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2. The passage clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

    6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination-Lev.11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this? Are there degrees of abomination?

    7. Leviticus 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

    8. Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?

    9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8, that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

    10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them?- Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

I know you have studied these things extensively and thus enjoy considerable expertise in such matters, so I am confident you can help. thank you again for reminding us that God's Word is eternal and unchanging."

    Thank you very much,
    David Arnold

    Re: Greetings!!!(And some questions)

Welcome, Brother Arnold! These are pressing questions indeed, and I shall leave it to other leaned church members to guide you.

I recently received some infractions (!) for one of my posts and am wearing a scarlet S (for Strumpet) for a week until they disappear. So I am afraid I am not clean or worthy enough to address any of these questions myself.

But I am so glad you have seen the light, and are poised to learn THE TRUTH on the very knee of God, through our blessed Landover Baptist Church.

I don't see why you can't own a Canadian, I have two that wash my linens twice a week. I had to discipline them to get them to knock off all that "eh" nonsense.

        2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as santioned in Exodus 21:7 In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

100 Shekels seems fair to me. Is she a virgin or spoiled?

        3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness_Lev.15:19-24 The problem is how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

If a woman is taking offense to your question then she needs a good dose of discipline. She is not to speak up to her man!

        4. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord-Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

Seems like they are just jealous/angry of your religious beliefs. Try burning two bulls for the Lord next time, and get as close to their house as possible. Maybe they will be filled with the Holy Spirit from seeing you do this, or maybe they will just be killed off from smoke inhalation.

        5. I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2. The passage clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

Does the Lord command you to kill them? He states that they will be put to death. Just give it time, God likes to surprise them with their death.

        6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination-Lev.11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this? Are there degrees of abomination?

        An abomination is an abomination.

        Abomination:
        Abhorrence; disgust.
A cause of abhorrence or disgust.

        7. Leviticus 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

Do you consider poor sight that can easily be corrected to be a "blemish in your eye" As the verse states?

If your eye didn't work at all, I would stay away from the alter.

        8. Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?

I Corinthians 11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

        9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8, that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

get a fake football boy, do you think pigskin footballs are your ONLY choice?

        10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. (Lev. 20:14)

A group stoning is fine, any stoning is fine.
It seems to me that you are just trying to mock the Lord with your silly questions, God writes in the Bible what you need to do. Now go do it!
Gather around so that I can read to you from my book of TRUTH. Genesis thru Revelations....Pick one!

Luke 12:5- But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

          Hello David!

It sounds like you are very interested in killing other people. As a Christian you should be doing everything in your power to show these sinners the glory of Jesus Christ, I think most of the situations you listed would be something that you can fix through a good solid Rebuking©.

I have tried to show them the truth but they are so sinfull that they don't want to hear a simple word of what I am trying to say! I know killing is the last thing to do, but maybe is the only possible way of getting rid of all that sin.

But I also believe we sould stop all this brainwashing. In my daughter's school they "teach" them about evolution. Theores upon theories based on other theories! They find a theory and after a short period of time they come and tell us "Oops sorry! The last theory has been outdated! Here's the improved new version.". And this happens all the time.

Of course, as a Christian myself went to school and told them to stop this evolution madness and start to teach the truth, the only truth there is: Creation. The earth was created by God. Want proof??? Just look at your Bible!
            Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
There! From the very first verse we see that the earth(and heaven) was created by God.
I've gathered some other fellow Christians to discuss this topic with the school board. But all they kept saying was that teaching Creationism is illegal according to the constitution.

So, all I have to say is that we have to hit evil at it's root. Stop this brainwashing! I pray that McCain gets elected. I'm 100% certain that he will update the constitution according to the law of God.

            Thank you.

P.S. Sorry for the lenght of my posts.

Dear David. Well done for seeking truth. Many unsaved choose to be spoon fed what passes for truth these days, without taking the necessary steps to find out the 'real' truth for themselves. Congratulations!
There are many among us who will have different 'opinions' in regards to your questions, but all truths begin and finish with the Bible! So when in doubt, stick to the word of the Lord, as you appear to be doing, and you can't go wrong!
Lets see if I can assist you in your queries.
1:Your 'friend' says? The only friend you need is Jesus, not some piece of trash that defies Gods law. Of course you can own Canadians. Secularists claim that slavery is illegal, but providing some sort of token payment, such as bread, chitlins, molasses, food and lodging and corporal punishment or 'education' means they aren't slaves, but employees.
2: If your daughter is not a virgin, probably noone will want to buy her. Has she begun to menstruate yet? It might be worth performing a gynaecological examination to ascertain her purity, just so you know for sure. If you want to sell her off to a neighbouring nation, of course exchange rates will come into play, but based on the performance of the US dollar, I wouldn't part with her for less than $30,000. minimum. To get an idea on bride prices, why not visit http://marryourdaughter.com/. This should provide you with an accurate guide to your childs worth.
3:Generally the smell is a giveaway for menstruation. Many True Christians instruct their wives to remain in the Menstrual Shed for the 5 days or so, so this question never needs to be answered. I'm assuming you arent considering fornication? Sex is only permissable between married couples, and not for out of wedlock shenanigans.
4: If your neighbours were Christians it would not be a problem for them. Encourage them to leave, or move to a Christian neighbourhood.
5:Secularists forbid us from killing sinners ourselves. Its best to leave this matter in Gods hands and hope that your sabbath abusing neighbour comes to a horrible painful end at the hands of our merciful God for his disrespect of the Lords day.
6: Eating Shellfish = abomination. Homosexual sodomy = abomination. Why are you confused? Buy a dictionary.
7: You will only have to approach the altar of God after you are dead. No glasses required in the afterlife. Ok?
8: Your friends who cut their hair should die by the hand of God. Once secularhood in this nation is overthrown, and religious law applies once more. then you can stone them , and not before. Noone is to begin any stoning until God blows his whistle. Am I absolutely clear?
9: You shouldnt be wasting your time playing sports when you should be attending prayer meetings. If you choose to play football and spit in baby Jesus' face then worrying about touching a dead pig skin shouldnt worry you as much as what Jesus will do to you after you die for forsaking your Christian responsibilities.
10: Don't stone him to death on the sabbath
The devil, whose business is to pervert the truth, mimics the exact circumstance of the Divine Sacraments. He baptises his believers and promises forgiveness of sins...he celebrates the oblation of bread, and brings in the symbol of the resurrection. Let us therefore acknowledge the craftiness of the devil, who copied certain things of those that be divine."

                Thank you for your answers.

                To clarify more:
                I am married.
My daughter is virgin. A christian gynacologist did an examination last week.
I won't play football ever again. The first thing that I'm going to do tomorrow morning is to go to my local church and ask to join the choir. Although I will need a few singing lessons

What you think about my proposal of teaching Creationism to our kids? I think I'm not the only one who believes that the earth is 6000 years old and not 4-5 billion years as the "scientists" "believe". It's in my previous post.

Thank you all for your valuable time

Yes Pastor, the Lord has certainly brought him to us. A nice change after all the Demoncrat Lieberals we've been getting lately.
