It's OK to be shy, Rex. You go ahead and lurk some more, if you like, and do a little reading of our Godly forum. You'll know when it's time to give a more thorough introduction!

Exactly! You'll be fine Rex *hugs*.

Rex is a friend of mine who is concerned about the well-being of her soul, so I directed her here. Hopefully, you all can help her.

Let's see if I have this straight:

You're a Wicker, who hates Jesus and spits on God's Word, and so you brought a friend who is concerned about her afterlife to US?

While I'm glad that you brought your friend here in hopes that she would see the light, I wonder why you wouldn't show concern for your OWN soul too?

For did not Jesus Himself say:

          Matthew 7:3-5

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Undies Cidered, you've got some serious "beaming" goin' on there. Perhaps you'd do well to study Jesus' wood!

<-- this wood, get yer mind outta the gutter!

I'm not a Wiccan, I'm Pagan. There's a difference. And she seemed to think that she needed Christian(C) help, because she wouldn't listen to me. So I thought of you guys. My soul is just fine for now. I don't have to worry about converting until after Salvation Seeker marries me.

What the hell?? I haven't got any beams in my eyes!

Beams? Eyes? I feel a headache.

Is that what happens? I'm a bit confused here.

But yes, I am in question about dear "Undecided" and her soul as well. I mean, I am no expert... but the things she says sometimes... I'm so worried. I feel nothing but compassion for her, for I know/think it's not completely her fault. ((Sorry. It had to be said.))

Someone else forced her to spit on Jesus?

Tell me, Rex, what do you believe?

                What's your favorite Bible verse?

What do you love most about God and Jesus?

What do I believe? I don’t know. I have people telling me I’m a sin and so I don’t know what to think. Hence, why I came here. Seeking answers to questions I’m not even sure that I have. I’m a very confused young lady, as you can probably tell.

I love how Jesus sacrificed himself for others. It’s so… selfless… how can any one surmount that kind of altruism?

And the reason I say that it’s not Alie’s fault is because her mother is Catholic. I spent time in a catholic school… I understand that naturally she must be used to paganism.

You're a sin? Were you born out of wedlock? In that case, I am afraid that we cannot associate with you, for the Bible states:

We are but filthy human beings -- we can only strive to be as brave and as honorable and selfless as our Invincible Jesus Christ who temporarily sacrificed Himself for us.

I was not born out of wedlock. I am not a lesbian, I am actually hoping to marry a True Christian (tm) husband to show me the way... whatever that may be.

I had stated orriginally that I cannot be held responsible for my parents and their decision to name me Rex. It is God's will (I hope.)

Maybe the person who called you a sin meant to call you an abomination? Do you dress like a lesbian, perhaps? or a punk rocker from the late 70s? Or worse, a punk rocker IN her late 70s?

Friend, if you ever wish to go to Heaven, you must lose this "I hope" bit. Everything that happens is because of God's Will! After all, He laid everything out before He even created the earth 6,000 years ago! There is nothing in this world that escapes His attention, and there is nothing that happens "by accident" as those evolutionists would have you believe. While there may be things that we don't understand (i.e. why Christians are the most persecuted minority in the world, why abortion and divorce is legal and stoning witches is not), everything is going just as planned to Jesus. The same goes for the situation in Vietraq. Whilst the liberal media doesn't understand what is going on there, they fail to see that George W. Bush knows EXACTLY what he is doing because he gets his marching orders from Jesus Himself! The only hitches in plans come from Satan, who throws a hitch into the Plan every now and then. Satan is the only one who can try to throw things off, since he is, after all, the Price of Darkness. Everything he does is try to bring more to Hell! Every so often he steps in to throw God's plans off (ie - telling homosexuals to leave the Twin Towers when God knocked them down).

I hope this clears things up. Jesus is ALWAYS in control. Everything that happens is because of His Will, except when Satan steps in. Be sure you don't make that mistake again. Nothing is ever against God's Plan.
