    Phillip The Crusaider :)

lol, thats what id be if i could
hello, my name is Phillip, im a cristian from washington state. Currently im serving in the US Army deployed in Iraq. I look back on the months ive been here and the only thing thats kept me safe, thats kept me going this whole time is my relationship with Jesus. he is my streinght, he is my sheild, everytime life looks its hardest, everytime i feal down i pray and God brings me around.
Im not sure why ive come to this forum, to this website, I saw some stuff I had questions on... I know baptists are a branch of cristianity, i dont know what the difference in the two branches are... but i think we belive in basicaly the same things. Where are you guys located? Is blandover baptist an all white church? what are some of the morals you as a whole belive in? such as i belive in basicaly the 10 commandments, plus a few other values i have of myself. such as never cuss, never stand aside while wrong is being done. help thoes in trouble. etc.
honostly i dont know if anyone will even read this, i hope someone does and can answer my questions, i have others... but being as im new i wont ask some of them for it may seem disrespectful.

I have my flaws, i play video games, violent ones. i dont see any wrongness in this. i only say its a flaw because i know most churches belive nearly all video games are wrong, evil, and should be discarded. I watch non cristian movies, that i enjoy, i like action movies. among other things ive done in my life im not proud of i repent my sins to god, and i know im forgiven.

so... ill see how long untill i get a reply

    Dear friend:

Our morals are based on the King James Bible — all of it, not just the feel-good parts that have-a-nice-day liberal "Christians" like to cherry-pick. Speaking of which, what are your favorite passages from God's Word?

P.S. The Crusaders were Romanists, and if you care where you will spend eternity, you will have nothing to do with the Roman Catholic system.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Questions to ask liberal "Christians"Things that the Bible doesn't sayTolerance

      Leviticus 26:27-29

      27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;
28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
29 And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.

Welcome to God's favorite forum. Feel free to look around and ask questions.

I hope you realize that we are a very, very patriotic church, as America is a Christian Nation. I also hope you realize that it is a federal offense to pose as a member of the military when you're not.

No I am soldier in the US army, serving in Iraq as of this moment. I know about the crusades, I only use that word because I like what it resembled curing the world of evil by force, not talk. And I have bad grammar from years of online games, sorry. So is it alright to ask a couple questions then?
And one thing I’m saved, I was baptized when I was born, and re-committed my life to god when I was 14 because I personally didn’t feel being baptized at that young of an age counted since it wasn’t my personal decision.

If you don't even have the respect for God to capitalize His name, then you surely are not Saved(c). There is no excuse for slovenliness. As an alleged soldier you should know that.

Feel free to ask any respectful questions you might have. You might also use the "search" function to see if your questions have already been asked and answered in another thread.

Also THIS is a good thread to read for an overview of our church doctrines.

              Re: Phillip The Crusaider

Ok by no means do I want this to seem as a disrespectful attack, but honestly up until I stumbled onto this website I had no idea this happened. I read approximately 40 forms or so now and I’m wondering, do Baptists believe in one supreme race? Like only white people will go to Heaven? (capitalized Heaven because it’s a place ) All Baptists beat their wives if they don’t clean or cook properly? All Baptists generalize groups, races, or people as wholes as I’m doing right now? Or is it just a majority, minority, or a branch of Baptists. I being Christian don’t beat females for any reason, unless it was self defense and my life was endangered, my entire life I’ve been brought up to see all races, religions, people man or woman as equal but the decisions they make and their relationship with God determine their end outcome upon death Heaven or Hell.
I see it as a majority of the Baptist posters on the forum seem defensive in a way, that when they are asked a question it’s almost like they are trying to win an argument in their response or make a comment that can been seen as disgraceful or offensive to the person asking the question. Such as when I said I’m in the Army, the first thing responded to me seems as if I am attempting to pretend to be a soldier to gain some respect or something? But anyway, these are a few questions I have because honestly up until this point as of roughly 2hours ago I though Muslims were the only ones who beat their wives, from personal experience in Iraq I’ve seen the women being beaten and as I see it a woman is just as equal in Gods eyes as a man, granted woman was created from man in the Bible, and yes God says it’s the man’s job to take care of the woman but I don’t believe its right for the man to harm his wife because she “mouthed off or used French's mustard on our turkey sandwich instead of the Dijon”

And yes, I am an expert marksman, machine gunner, and grenadier. I’m currently the best in my battalion at the 249 (SAW machine gun)

                Re: Phillip The Crusaider

And I would have to say my all time favorite passage from the Bible is "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
                Ephesians 6:11-13

I like Psalms a lot too, one of my tops...
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
                Psalms 27:1-3

Have you ever studied the entire Bible son? It sounds to me like you've been cherry-picking. We follow every word of the KJV1611 Bible, not just some of them.

I don't know where you get the idea that only White people are allowed into Heaven. Bill Clinton is White, but the chances of seeing him up there are slim to none.

Yes I have read and studied the entire Bible on a regular basis before my deployment. No I don’t believe only one race will go to Heaven, I just saw in a couple of your forums some long-term posters/pastors were commenting on such things as “we have 20-30 Negros in the back in case we need something fetched during sermon” and I read quite a few other racist remarks that kind of lead me to believe it was a supreme race sort of thing. And no I don’t “cherry pick” out parts of the Bible. But as to my questions earlier is it all Baptists believe in beating their wife’s for such things? Or is it a small portion? Because I have a cousin that is Baptist, and there were times I would spend the night at his house and attend his church services on Sundays. I never heard anything about that sort of stuff there, then again the pastor of that Baptist church did ride up the isle of the pews on a Harley lol.

If you've read the entire Bible, then surely you understand that coloreds were designated by God to serve White people. Read Genesis 9: 18-27.

Anyone has the potential to go the Heaven. Very few will. The Bible also says that.

No I’m not saying that, I have no problem at all with Negros in our church, as of right now my best friend is black. I’m saying I read on your forums many different times racist comments such as that “we keep 20-30 Negros in the back in case we need something fetched during sermon” and I agree, genetic engineering is bad. Man was not meant to be born of tubes, Gods creations were not meant to be changed. Im up at 0200 because I got off a late mission and im not tired. Why does it matter?
And I am on this forum because I like to learn, I like to just know stuff in general.
