I don't suppose you can show us any place where we have "lied" by telling the truth about the Bible, can you?

Lissy, many people prefer to hear happy stories about Jesus. They like to hear that God loves everybody, and that everybody nice goes to Heaven, where they can play lawn darts and drink beer with their friends forever.

The Bible doesn't say that.

The Bible says that God gets very angry when people don't worship and fear Him and follow all His commands. So angry, that He drowned all the people He created -- grownups, babies, unborn too, and animals -- in a great Flood because they didn't worship Him. He nuked Sodom and Gomorrah too, because the men did things He didn't like. (He torched the women and infants, too.)

The Bible says that only those who repent (that includes stopping sinning) and who follow Jesus get to go to Heaven, where they spend eternity worshipping and praising God. Everyone else goes to a vast Lake of Fire, which God has created for the sole purpose of torturing every single person who fails to worship Him in the precise manner He has prescribed.

Now, we understand that people don't like what the Bible says. They prefer what Pastor Feelgood says, because it means that getting to Heaven is easy.

Jesus said it was a narrow path to Heaven, and a broad way to Hell for a reason.

Why is it you don't like what the Bible says, Lissy? Is it that you don't want to give up things you like, because you don't love God enough?

He loved YOU enough to die temporarily and resurrect Himself after three days. But YOU don't love HIM enough to give up your sinful deathstyle?
