The relationship described in the Bible between us and God is supplicant/servant and all-powerful Creator and Master, not "brother" or "pal". We are to obey; that is our role.
You don't believe in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ?

"Spiritual but not religious" podcast? What is that, some more New Age, hippie love god nonsense? Ignore the Bible and "go with your gut"?

    Re: Angela's Introduction

P.S. I accepted Christ in 1975 when I was 8 years old in the First Baptist Church of Whitney, Texas. I currently attend the Connection Church, which is an Assembly of God church here in my area, but I was a member of the Baptist General Conference when I was a kid and young adult. I love the Baptist General Conference. Really, really good people.

So far we haven't hear any mention of Jesus, Angie. Please tell us how you came to accept Christ as your personal Savior. What church do you attend? Did your Husband give you permission to be posting here?

What sort of "discount" merchandise are you peddling?

Yes, they are a lot of fun. They are getting older now, but Snick still acts like a kitten and Freddie is such a doll; he sleeps on my pillow and likes to put his paw out to touch me at night. JoJo used to be really small and skittish, but she's relaxed SO much that she's now round like a butterball turkey. LOL

Smokey, Fred, Snickers and JoJo look like a lot of fun.

    Because "angelas<spamlink>" sounds like spam.

Edit: Whaddya know, it is spam.

    Re: Hey dudes!

I'm Angela from Aberdeen; the one in Washington State, not the one in Scotland. I've lived here in this town most of my life. We came here in 1976 when I was 10. Except for the 15 months that we lived in Texas when I was a young child (which is where I became a Christian), I've lived in Washington all my life.

I was a Restaurant Manager for 20 years, but right before New Year's Eve 2008, I changed my occupation to a computer consultant, working from home. I am very glad I found this site.

P.S. I see my "description" is 'Unsaved Trash Under Investigation'. I beg to differ. I've been a Christian since 1975; 34 years.
