    Praise the Lord!

I thank God that He has led me to you!

    A few things about myself:
My name is Beatrix and I used to be a wiccan. I practised this "religion" all through high school and it's a miracle I graduated at all. At the time I didn't understand why I always had such a hard time in school, but now I realize that the Devil was trying to ruin my life by turning me into a drop-out and possibly try to make me commit suicide. (yes, I was one of those emo brats and I'm now ashamed of that fact) I have recently devoted my life to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. I decided to live through Him after fooling around on various search engines I came upon the Chick tract website. After reading some of the tracts online and doing some research at the library about some of the facts displayed in them, I saw the Truth and realized I was living a lie!
I've already bought myself a KJV Bible, I'm starting to let my hair grow out to a more feminine style after keeping it short and boyish for years. I've even started wearing skirts and dresses again!

I pray that I will make good friends here who will help become a better tool to serve Him.

    Praise Jesus!
Why is it that the fewer the facts non-believers have, the stronger the opinion?

          Re: Praise the Lord!

Do you know how to use a broom like a proper True Christian woman?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I'm 19 years-old, but I'm not married yet (it's hard to find a Godly man anywhere nowadays, but I keep praying ). I have burned every single satanic/"wiccan" book, pentagram, etc.. I had and I refuse to talk to any of my former friends I had that were also into wicca (that's pretty much all of them). I've even broken one of their noses when she said I was "crazy" for turning my life over to Jesus.
I don't belong to a church just yet, but I have visited a KJV Bible-believing Baptist church a few times. I can't go every Sunday because in order to get there I pass all of my old "friends" houses and several "magic" shops in the area. I'm too afraid that I'll be tempted to take up that demonic lifestyle again and I don't want to go to Hell!

              Re: Praise the Lord!

Praise be to God, welcome, welcome, welcome to our forum! I am very excited for you to be here! So you are 19, that is good. We need young people to carry the torch of Christianity, since it's fashionable these days for young girls to listen to the drum-beat-sex-rythyms of Flo-Rida and for young men to laugh about Christ while discussing what makes Richard Dawkins and Daniel Dennett so great.

Since we want you to feel at home, why don't you put a picture up in your avatar? Or if you feel shy, email me a pic...why, email me as much as you like. You live in Texas, you say? I am a televangelist based out of California, but, shucks, what a coincidence -- I was planning on taking a vacation to Texas next month! Will you imagine that! I'd be happy to be your pastor. I would be willing to spend as much time as you need and work one-on-one with you. You will be open to receive Christ inside you and I will fill you up with the Holy Spirit. It would be.....magical.

              Yours,
              Jim
