First off I would like to apologize for any rude comments I have made, the comments toward my ethnicity was not appreciated, but I did stir things up a little. My name is Charles and I reside in Florida, I accept Jesus as my savior and worship the lord on a regular basis. My book of choice is King James Version 1611.My occupation is selling, customizing, and repairing ATV's and hunting vehicles. I am not a boozing dreamcatcher selling, red skinned, injun, as I am also from a Welsh and Irish decent. I hope we can start things over and again I apologise for my harsh comments.

I did attend Macland Baptist before moving to Florida, I am having a hard time finding a "true" Christian Church. I am not married and do not have any little ones.

Welcome Charles. Good to know you have and use the right Book. Not quite sure how people though you were an injun when in fact you are a mick, there is quite the difference visually, though we cannot see what you look like as you did not post a picture.... yet.
Selling things is bad though hunting ism good so I suppose that is a wash.
I do wonder why it took you a couple of hours to write a short paragraph, esp. after you were hollering in a derogatory manner before that a good True Christian did not respond in microseconds.

Well, let bygones be bygones. A True Christian is always willing to turn the other cheek unless you are a Homer. Not much more fun than discussing Jesus.

Welcome, Charles! I think the reason people may have been a little hard on you is because you come off a bit mendacious. You claim you're not an alcoholic, but you're half Indian, half Irish??? Just the other day we had an Irish lass walk in who was drinking whiskey in the morning.

It's not about stereotypes, it's about statistics!

Jesus does not tolerate liars on God's Favorite Forum(tm). I think if you open up and confess of your drunkeness (which Paul tells us will send us to Hell!), and start living your life a True Christian(tm) way, then you'll make a lot more friends around here!

That being said, I would like to point out that in no way I'm a racist. I have no problem hiring Mexicans to do my lawn and gardening.

I posted before discovering you were true Christians, I thought it was a joke then quickly realized my mistake. I am a Mick but injun and welsh as well, but I know the one and only Jesus Christ who died on the cross for my sins, so I dont see where my ethnicity makes any difference, and no homer here, I just havn't found a good Christian woman to worship the lord with yet.

Welcome to the forum.

You will find here that some folks are less than discrete about using racial epithets. Many here genuinely believe that terms such as "injun", "nigra", "darkie" etc. are not offensive. For the most part they mean no harm. My suggestion to you is to ignore the terms unless they are directed squarely at you as opposed to usage in more general terms. In any event, always be dignified and never respond to insults with another insult. Don't ever let anyone bait you into an angry exchange. Its a battle you can't win.

The best way to educate those that persist in using offensive terms is to be quitely dignified, well spoken, and knowledgeable. Demonstrate to them your value as a human being and perhaps some will eventually change their ways.

Praise Jesus! I too have had alcohol problems all my life in the distant past, so I know exactly what you went through. You know, those days when you wake up at 7 am and go to the fridge to pour a glass of orange juice. Your life is so depressing the next day when you pour your glass of orange juice you add a little vodka to it? Then a couple days pass and you feel suicidal, and you're drinking 50/50 orange juice/vodka screwdrivers. Finally you get to the point where you say "Screw the orange juice" and just start your day out with a fifth of cheap grocery store-brand vodka? I know exactly what you've gone through, my friend.

That being said, I am glad that you have accepted Christ and that He has given you the power to overcome your genetic weaknesses! Praise Jesus! With God, all things are possible! Shout, GLORY!

Kill water fowl for food, use a Browning 12ga ordered from the factory in 1952 by my grandfather with a left handed safty, Belgium barrel (real good gun), I also have my pea shooter Glock 17, but I want to trade it for a good revolver as the trash in America have spoiled the Glock name by referring to them in their blasphemous rap and hethenous ways.
