    Re: New to the forum

Hi Brenda, and Welcome! Looks like you may be of to a good start. Mind your P's and Q's, respect the Church elders and you'll do fine. I noticed no one asked this question, do you clean kills?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

James is a hunter Brenda. "Kills" are the animals hunters shoot. He asks that question often. He uses it to gauge whether your are, as he calls them, "good people" or not.

I will not ask you any such questions. Enjoy our Godly forum!

Oh! Well, my husband was an avid hunter and fisherman. Deer, duck, geese, quail, and all kinds of animals. When he made a "kill" I didn't have to do anything but cook it. Well, depending on the animal. He had the deer butchered. But the birds always came home whole.

I don't mind cooking and cleaning animals at all. In fact, I kind of miss it now that you mention it.

I am a 32 year old widow. We had no children, as my husband died before God blessed us with any. I attend Guts Ministries here in Tulsa, and while I don't have a single "favorite" verse, I do think it would be difficult to decide on only one.

As far as cooking and cleaning... I am good at both.
