    New to the forum

    Hello there.

I came across this forum today, and thought I'd take a minute to register myself, and say hello to everyone.

It's good to see a forum devoted to God, and serving him, rather than all of the other terrible things I seem to come across on the Internet.

    Thanks for reading!

Why does it say "unsaved trash" next to my name when I post?

This is not very appealing when someone sees my post.

Welcome. Are you married? Do you have children? How many? Is your father/husband aware that you are posting here?

What recipes do you prepare best? Have you any housework or child-rearing tips for the Ladies of Landover?

Which Church do you attend? What is your favorite Bible verse?

Welcome. I am new here myself.

Landover Baptist is a unique bright spot in the ocean of dreck on the Internet.

You are blessed for finding us.

Tell us a bit more about yourself, and your search and witnessing for our Lord.
Jud 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are unGodly among them of all their unGodly deeds which they have unGodly committed, and of all their hard [speeches] which unGodly sinners have spoken against him.

          Welcome to Gods Favorite Forum!
Where is your Church? What is its' name and the name of your Godly Pastor?
What is your favorite verse from the KJV Bible?

Pay no mind to the words under your name. God's Favorite Forum will advance your place along side Him as you prove your devotion.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

            Wow!! So many questions!

            A little about myself:

I am a 32 year old widow. We had no children, as my husband died before God blessed us with any. I attend Guts Ministries here in Tulsa, and while I don't have a single "favorite" verse, I do think it would be difficult to decide on only one.

As far as cooking and cleaning... I am good at both.

Thank you angels. We were married for 8 years. He passed away October of 2007. We were both very young when we married and I have not been able to allow another man into my life yet. I lost my true love here on earth, and I will never be the same until we are together again.

Oh BrendaFritz, I am so sad for you. I will pray for you. I hope when I find a husband I will love him as much as you love yours.

                      Fav food?

I'd have to say a good steak is hard to beat. Sweet potatoes, and beans on the side please!!

A little more about me; I did not need to work when my husband was alive, and now that he is gone, I feel as though I should get a job. Not for the money, as he left me with more than enough, but as to keep me busy, and meet new people. I can only volunteer so much at church, and when I have interviewed at most places, the jobs are very demanding, and other than the church, every place of business I've looked into is very un-Christian. Even the "christian" companies like Mardel And hobby lobby aren't doing business in a Godly way (in my eyes).

Any advice on finding a job for a Christian lady? Or should I just talk to the church about spending more hours volunteering?

An employment agency for servants would be an idea. Good staff are so hard to find and many of them think that board and food doesn't count towards the minimum wage even when uniforms are provided.

                          Green beans!

and I think I'll pass on being someone's servant. I am well enough off to hire my own servants (although I don't need any).

Perhaps more work at the church is my only answer.

There are lots of jobs that are good for women. Librarian, nail salon, shoe sales, coffee shop, etc..

Do you have any friends who work? That's an easy way to get into a job.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.
