I attend Mount Zion Baptist Church and I my favorite Bible verse (well, verses) are as follows:
Matthew 5:38- Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
Matthew 5:39-But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

And if you're about to say that the whole war thing was only ok in the Old Testament, Jesus has told us that He and the Father are one and the same, and that he doesn't change:

Are you saying Jesus contradicts Himself? His Word in inerrant, and timeless, is it not? How do you explain His mandate to eradicate those who oppose Him with that passage? No, I was just trying to be like one of them stupid liberals like Serenity-Millennium who for some reason thinks God loves everyone.
I do indeed believe in warfare, specifically warfare for Christ.
The reason I'm not in Iraqistan is because my mother is scared that when I'm fighting one of them Muslims I might get killed or something. Otherwise, I would be doing Christ's work over there.Comment

No, I haven't had any soldiers for Christ yet. I am a young man and still have not found a good, obedient Christian woman. I really can't wait though. When I get a bit older.Comment
