My first thread was my vision of a truly Christian nation (Republican Politics subforum).

I am slyscafe, and I am a born-again Christian. I was born and raised in a Baptist Christian home, and I for a while fell away from God and Jesus and dabbled in Atheism and Agnosticism (both are pretty much the same Godless thing...just one has more guts to admit that they don't believe in a God).

A while back, I had a near-death experience and realized that there is a God who wants me here on his gracious Earth to fulfill his plan. What he has in mind, I have no idea. I just know that he saved me and he wants me here.

Here's my testimony:

About 3 months ago, I went to a party where numerous drugs and many types of alcohol were present. One thing led to another, and soon I was high on many different substances and incredibly drunk.

I thought I could drive home, which was possibly the worst idea (but I was high and drunk...I had no common sense), and ran through a red light. To my immediate left, there was a pair of headlights, and I don't remember much after that.

I remember seeing God and Jesus standing above me, waving their right hands in a circle, saying "change your ways", and I woke up in a hospital.

The doctors said that I should have died, but by some miracle I survived.

That miracle was God and Jesus.

Haha, if you want to put it so bluntly, yeah. I lost almost everything, then Jesus and God came to me asking me to change, and so I did.

Sometimes the conversion manifests itself slowly, through weeks and months and years. So slowly they don't even notice . .

For others, blammo !! It is as it twas for Paul on the road to Damascus !!

Welcome to our forum, Sly! Consider yourself quite lucky and blessed to have had an experience such as that one. Many people die tragically without intercession of Christ to save them. Obviously, you have a mission to fulfill in life and I hope we can help you with it here at Landover Baptist Church.

I for one am leery of this type of 'overnight' conversion. I will listen but not open my arms until time is spent in the free world and all the wrongs have been righted. If sin forgiveness is then asked, only then would I open my arms and heart.

You must give full and explicit testimony of the debauchery and results of the incidents that fearful night.
What did you do to the women at the party. Did you also defile any men?
What drugs did you consume?
How many died in the wreck? Please include pictures.
Were they good True Christian™ White folks or others?
After you were arrested, were you violated with a night stick or broom handle (I've heard this is common when a person of your persuasion is at the police station).
While in prison, have men attempted to rape you yet?

Let it out son, it will be good for your soul.
