So why are you here? You might want to consider the possibility that Jesus led you here to learn about Him and how to become Saved. If you think this "might be Salem all over again" the possibility exists that you consider yourself to be a witch. God sends witches to Hell. You might want to read Exodus chapter 22 verse 18.

i disagree. i said "salem all over again" due to the radical views of the Christian power in control then. killing those who are innocent in the name of a God who would never condone such acts.

I am very well educated in religion. I am here out of curiosity. nothing more. if you truly wanted people to adapt to your views you should be so critical.

The funny part is that the term comes from books in the Apocrypha, not the AV 1611 Bible. The Apocrypha are found in the Septuagint, which was used for the translation basis of many false Bibles. So, effectively, your name has no meaning since it comes from a false Bible. Read the quote below for more information.

A quick intro on origins of the AV 1611.

The two most widely used translations of Hebrew to Greek of the Old Testament or Tanakh are the Masoretric Text and the Septuagint. The Septuagint translation from Hebrew to Greek was done by Greeks in the period of 356 - 323 BC. The Masoretic Text is a translation of the Tanakh from Hebrew to Greek by Hebrews (the Masoretes) in the period between the 7th and 11th century AD.

The Masoretes were know for the exactness of their translations. The Old Testament of the AV 1611 King James Version is translated from the Masoretic Texts which is certainly a superior translation to the Septuagint. If fact, the Septuagint mysteriously has four extra books. These "extras" are known as the Apocrypha and appear as an addendum in many King James 1611 editions.

Most Catholic translations use the inferior Septuagint.

The New Testament in the AV 1611 is translated from the Textus Receptus, the collection of Greek manuscripts which were generally accepted Christian canon.

Landover Baptist considers the AV 1611 to be the only correct English translation, authorized by God Himself.

fwiw its from the name Grigori Rasputin. as you know he was a Russian holy man. he was a great friend to the czar of the time and was killed unjustly by the political leaders of the time.
