Hello Landover Baptist Church. My name is Cristina, and I have been looking at your forum for quite some time now. To be perfectly honest, I haven't liked what I've read. Before you point out my obvious flaws or attempt to give it your best shot, I will do the honors for you. I am a female, I am young, I am not a strong believer in God, (I capitalize this word out of respect to you because I do not wish to come across as hostile.) I am very libralistic, but I do not believe that abortion should be legal, I dislike intolerence and hate, and my spelling isn't perfect. These are just a few of my many flaws that you will possibly exploit, and if you feel the need to, please, be my guest.

I haven't come here to criticize you for you beliefs, though I am sure at some point, we will come to a place where it will seem like that is my intention. To be completely honest, the only reason I can think of coming here for is understanding. Not about God, but about the people who belong to this forum. I don't expect to be here long before you humiliate, and ban me from your forum. I come here with low expectations of the tolerence from the Landover Baptist Forums, I challenge you to prove me wrong.

I know that I am not seen as an equal to the men of this forum, though I feel that this is unjust, I will try to respect your beliefs in this matter. I assure you, however, that anything you can do, I most certainly can do as well.

I have no favorite Bible verses. I haven't read the entire Bible. I do not claim, nor will I ever, to know what God has planned or his beliefs. I know enough of the Bible to know where I stand and why. If necessary I will find and quote the text which will serve as evidence for my beliefs, but unfortunately, I am unable to this day because my Bible is at my house and I am not.

Please, feel free to ask questions. If you deem it necessary, ban me from your forum. Scorn me, hate me, do whatever you must, but just remember that I have come to you in peace.

I am not yet married, seeing as I am only sixteen. I will be in the kitchen in a few hours, not because I believe that it is my place, but because my nephew will want breakfast when he wakes up. Thank you for the welcome. I must say that it is more than I expected.

Too bad you're a minor, I would have liked to get to know such a fine young lady, and teach you the Ways of Jesus the Lord. I hope you manage to find a good Christian husband that won't doubt in giving you the guiding and discipline you so obviously need.

Well young lady, I respect your honesty. That is an extremely important virtue to have. It reflects having a backbone and integrity. Being only 16, you have a lot to learn. Think about the choices you have made so far in your short life. Think about the fact that all these choices add up to create the path you are taking in life. Each step may seem insignificant until you look where you are going.
For example. You live in a beautiful forest. One day, you take a single step out of the forest into the desert. No problem, you turn around, go back to your home and big hot bowl of oatmeal. The next day, you take two steps out into the desert, and again, you return home. Each day, you walk further and further out. A point will come when you cannot make it home in one day. You will stay in the desert over night. No food, no comfy bed, no one around who cares about you. You become disoriented and lost, thirst becomes unbearable, hunger gnawing at you with no relief. Eventually you die a horrid slow death.
You can step away from God now but a point will come, no matter how badly you need Him, He will not be there for you. Think about it. Is it worth the risk?

Sir, I am please that you seem to think that I am a fine young lady. However, I am sorry to say that I do not believe physical violence, or emotional ridicule is permissable, therefore no man will ever touch me with the intent to harm me and if he does, he had better be certain that God is behind him. I apologize for the way this sounds, but I aim to be truthful.

Sir, I do believe it is worth the risk. I do not think that I could lie to myself and go to Christ only out of fear. If it is a slow death I must endure, then that is what I deserve. I will accept it without complaint.

Ma'am, I put in my correct birth date. If there is a restriction on age, I cannot see why it let me go through. I am not saying that you are lying, I just want you to know that I was honest about my age.
