Thank you for the concern. I realize that your heart is in the right place and that your intention is to "save" people. But don't you think it would be wise to view the world from another set of eyes for a bit? Not everyone agrees on everything, and that's good, it makes the world a colorful place. I think life would be terribly boring if everyone agreed on everything!
Some people believe in god, others don't. I don't see a problem with this unless someone is getting hurt. Live and let live is a good philosophy to go by.
Let me ask something, do you really believe that all people who honestly do not believe in god (note that I said "do not believe" not "believe in but defy.") are morally corrupt people and never do a single good thing in their lives?

But see, I look through the Bible's eyes which is the Truth. Why would I want to look through another person's eyes when they suffer illusions? Why would I trade the Word of God(c) for the Word of Satan?

Well, I'm signing out and I won't be back. I just wanted to leave you with something to think about. Violence is never the way to solve things. No kid should have to grow up in a violent household and no woman should ever be with a man who doesn't respect her.
Love isn't disciplining your partner by physically harming her. Love is seeing the other person as someone you want to spend the rest of your life with and knowing that you would do anything for them. If you loved someone I don't think you would ever want to see them in pain, whether it be from a slap on the butt or a punch in the face.
Being in love is such a warm feeling, it's possibly the greatest thing in the world. At the very least, give it some thought. Try the idea out for a little while, maybe you'll like it.

Please, I realize that your intentions are good, but maybe in this situation it is best to worry about yourself. If you believe Hell is a very real threat, then by all means, work to ensure that you will find a place in Heaven.
However, an arrogant, self righteous attitude will not get anyone on your side. If anything, it will push people away. Fear tactics ("if you don't obey you will be sent to hell!") only work on the weak minded.
I believe it is wrong to try to tell others what to believe. Dropping suggestions is fine, but I think you cross a line when you call people "heathens" for disagreeing with you.
It's good that you have devoted your life to something. I've devoted mine to music, poetry and acting. Devotion can give you a very fulfilled feeling, it really is wonderful. Your heart is in the right place (in most cases) but I think it is best to let others fend for themselves. If they are destined to be "saved" they will be.

78% of Americans may be Christians (that number seems a bit high, but I'll look past that) but that doesn't mean they all live in abusive households. It is possible to believe in god, practice the christian faith, and still love your wife and never become violent towards her. My parents are Christians, however I grew up in a very warm and loving home. They love each other deeply and I could never imagine my father becoming violent towards my mother. He's a very kind man and she is a very sweet woman.
And I hope you aren't implying that all atheists support pedophilia, this would only make you look ignorant and foolish. I am atheist because I believe the bible is factually incorrect, it has nothing to do with my morals. Pedophilia is morally wrong, I know that because I'm a good person, not because of any religion.
A real man can support a family and supply them with happiness and warmth without ever laying a finger on them. I grew up in a wonderful household, there was never a violent act comitted. If I did something wrong, I was punished by having something taken away and was told why what I did was wrong. No real man would ever resort to hitting a woman or a child. It's disgusting to even think of such a thing.

Well, I was going to, but I got kind of into what I was saying.
I will be leaving shortly. I just like to debate, that's all. I think it's rewarding for both sides. In the end you have some new philosophies to think about which is never a bad thing. Whether you decide you agree or disagree with something, it's always worth it to give it some decent thought.
I'm not here to tell anyone what to believe, I just want to give you something to think about.

I can assure you that most homes are not abusive. Most men are repulsed when they think of a child or woman being hit. Don't feed me any of your "the bible says it's right!" bullshit. If you go outside and talk to real people, you'll come to find out that violence like that is looked down upon in this day and age.
Wouldn't you rather be loved and seen as an equel? A home is supposed to be a warm, safe place. The fear of violence should never find it's way there, if anything, that should be the place you feel safest. You should expect to love and be loved without violence.
