    Hello.

I might as well post an introduction, seeing as how I see how often it's asked to be done on these forums. I'm no longer that of the Christian faith, no do I belong to any religion or atheism. I don't want to say I'm agnostic either, instead I have my own beliefs which are constantly building each other up. My political views I would consider independent, since I don't pay much attention nor do know that much about politics. Both of the major sides have things about them I dislike, which tends to keep me from choosing a side.

I haven't come here to troll, it seems there are enough of those here anyways. Instead I just like to compare some of these views to that of what I had been taught while a Christian, and my current beliefs now. Before I'm told I should leave and/or be flamed, I would just like to bring up one of the things said by the Pastor (I believe it was him). I tend to avoid the second type, which would be angry trolls, simply because it never keeps a good discussion going on.

We tend to get two types of dissenters here. Some are calm and reasonable folks who are capable of rational discussion. I personally enjoy discussing religious topics with this sort of person.

Why would you need to register to read LBC's forums? If you aren't trying to debate, why would you even be interested in introducing yourself?

I bet this is about to get like every intro thread here.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

        Re: Hello.

Welcome, Nilon. Thank you for your honesty.

That's more than we can say about certain others.

What are the beliefs that you're making up for yourself instead of worshipping the One True God? And why bother? Wouldn't it be more intellectually honest to become a Secular Humanist?

It sounds interesting, although my views do differ from many of those. The reason I don't name my beliefs include part of the fact labels dealing with philosophies don't always work out well. When it comes to a God, I feel it doesn't matter whether they exist or not. An afterlife or reincarnation sounds nice, but dwelling on that matter isn't of much importance, and instead I would rather make this life as good as I want. I'm not sure what else to go on about, but it's going to end up with me being flamed anyways.

I love philosophy. Whether it's Matthew, Mark, Luke or John. And the flamed comment, too easy.

Well, that would be a quote from one of the introduction areas. That and I'm guessing you do care because you seem to infract me a ton for saying something that's nothing rude or anything, but is able to end a discussion because it makes sense.

You misunderstood what I meant. I mean when I would post in a topic that someone had made a post which made no sense at all, and I would post something that did make sense, and get infracted for it. Then again, the infraction system on here I don't understand compared to the forums I normally go on.

I have yet to see a post by you that made good sense. I have seen a fair amount of whining and complaining, comments that were off the wall and absurd.
Any time a discussion ended when you made a comment, think about it, did you consider that everyone left the 'room' when you came in because it was you?
                              Gotta go.....
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
