Alas magick has no cure for the common flu. A virus is an living organism, and I'm sworn not to kill life.

I bet your home is full of mold, mildew, roaches, rats, fleas, ticks, etc. You probably sleep in your own filth for fear of killing some bacteria(which actually is a life form, unlike a virus). Viruses do not respire. They lack the capability.

They do not breed. They lack this capability as well.

Viruses are cases holding RNA. When they attach to a cell, this RNA programming "reprograms" the host cell and turns it into a factory, making lots of new virions.

Think of a cell (which also is not an organism, but a part of one) like a computer-controlled machine shop. It carries out tasks as it's programmed. It has its own software to tell it what to do.

Think of a virus as a CD in a case. The CD contains software compatible with the computer.

When the CD is put into the controlling computer, it overrides the built-in programming, and the machine shop, instead of turning out car parts, starts producing CDs and CD cases.

That's how a virus works.

Meanwhile, your "magick" (that spelling being a pretense by Aleister Crowley, who was so successful that he died pathetic and penniless) apparently can't take a CD out of a computer in the factory. Yeah, that's mighty "real".

Ofcourse viruses don't respire, they don't use oxygen or any other kind of electron acceptor. They can't replicate without another organism. Anyhow, some viruses contain DNA as well. Furthermore, your explanation is correct.

I think you argument is weak friend, the reason why you 4th Cure Disease (Verbal, Somatic, Material Components, 1 Turn to cast) doesn't work is the real cause of your illness is Jesus and until you make it right with Him there is no cure.

That is right friend; Jesus Christ POWNED you.

Now friend, consider this; you said you started feeling better yesterday. Now what happened yesterday? You were on this forum and many TRUE Christians prayed for you worthless soul. Then you got better.

As discussed, a virus isn't living.

However, your magic seems pretty weak if it can't even cure the flu. Even Pharaoh's wizards were able to cover the land with frogs, after Moses had done so. Because a million frogs isn't nearly enough, two million is better.
