  • Grettings, and God bless

    Hello all,

I have been tormented from the devil in so many ways that there are some days that I do no believe that I can go on. After finally finding this website, I believe that I can finally find some people who share my struggle.

As a strong follower of the Bible (King James), I have become confused from the fact that us human have coexisted with dinosaurs.
In Genesis 1:23-27, God tells us who/what He created on the sixth day of creation. Note that both man and the beasts of the earth were created on the sixth day. That means that Adam and Eve were created on the same day that dinosaurs and other land-dwelling creatures were created. According to the God who created us, and who was the only eye-witness to the beginning of the universe and creation of life, the evolutionary brainwashing that occurs in public schools about humans and dinosaurs living millions of years apart is a fairy tale.

As an educated person, it is very hard for me to see the media and even my friends and family spreading lies and myths about how Adam and Eve were not surrounded by such dragoons. And now my kids are bringing back drawings from school of our family with no dinosaurs in the background or any symbols that may give tribute to our upbringing in the world. What should I tell the teacher? Surely she will not understand because I doubt she even read the bible, let alone understands the importance of our children.

    I need guidance, please help.

Yes, you are correct that dinosaurs co-existed with human beings. However, since they are now all extinct after being smited by God, there's no reason why your kids should draw dinosaurs with your family. Unless, of course, you happen to have a pet T-Rex in the backyard.

What kind of school are you sending your children to?

My wife is homeschooling until our children reach high school. Then, we plan to move them to Faith Baptist Academy here in Tucson, unless we move to Freehold.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Thank you Jim for your response

I am still at a loss as to how God "smited" the dinosaurs from the Earth and where in the bible it states this?

No, we do not have a pet T-Rex in our backyard, but I was just saying that my kids should never forget our history. I think of the dinosaurs as pet dogs when it comes to remembrance. If you have a pet dog Jim, would you instruct your children to not draw them?

The Stegosaurus swallowed rocks to help grind plants it ate, because it had no means to digest food. I always wondered why it differed from meat eaters like the T-Rex who was able to digest meat easily.

I think dinosaurs are proof enough that vegetarians are idiots.

hmm, that is a very good idea Levi. Unfortunately, I work 8 hours a day and do not have time to home school my children. The evolutionists are getting stronger and stronger by the day and every kid that walks into school is going against the God's Will! We must stop the butchering of God's word and bring back the Bible (King James) into school. It is simply not fair for the people of faith to have to resort to home schooling in order to preserve them.

Do you see dinosaurs around today? No. So God smote them. It's simple logic, and frankly, if God wrote everything He did down in His Word, it would be too big and too heavy to lift, read the entirety of, pass to school children outside of schools, house in any house let alone library, or smack your unsaved servants with!
Look, God didn't write down, "One day I will give a sodomite-enabler named Patrick Swayze cancer," yet here it's happened.

I was always under the impression that the Bible had everything that God did in it. Am I wrong to say that you are the unworthy one? I am not the one making assumptions or interpreting what God wrote to my own liking by saying that God killed the Dinosaurs. Until someone shows me scripture, I will think this whole forum is a joke.

That makes no sense whatsoever. What level of detail are you looking for? Every person, every blade of grass growing, the birth and death of every mouse?

You're right, I am a fool. So then, man and dinosaur coexisted and the former died off through the years (roughly 6000) and man is still here, obviously. There was no need to mention how and when God decided the dinosaurs are no more because he didn't have to. Our existence and the Bible prove that everything that God did as being historically accurate and irrefutable.

I guess I was too unworthy to notice that my initial readings of the bible were completely wrong. Well, I am off to read the Bible once more and will hopefully grasp God's meaning. I will also spend time with my kids' teacher and try to explain to her how to do her job and to let the church into her classroom. Our children are our future and I do not want to see my kids make the same mistakes I made in my life without God and knowing what the Bible really says. The teaching of the King James Bible must be brought back into the classroom! Am I the only one getting worked up over this?

That's the spirit. Make sure it's a KJV1611. Why not move your children to a private school? I know it's expensive, but I'm sure there are some sacrifices you could make to make sure they are properly taught.

Sorry, I didn't quote scripture for you earlier. There are things God knows that are not listed in The Bible, like the hairs on your head. Luke chapter 12 tells us.
6Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
7But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
8Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God.

                          Re: Grettings, and God bless

                          Hi Emmanuel,

Dinosaurs were wiped out by the Flood for the most part. Only 2 of each kind survived the Flood, and those were rapidly hunted down or died out, as they were not well suited to survive on a post-Flood Earth.

We don't believe in macro-evolution (species jumping), but clearly natural selection exists were species can improve themselves and differentiate (look at all of the breeds of dogs!) or where they just go extinct (like the dodo).

Have you ever watched an episode of "The Flintstones?" While it is just a cartoon and made for fun, it can still give you some idea on how humans and dinosaurs could have existed during pre-Flood days.
