If, by "The Church" you mean Roman Catholicism (paganism), then you're right. The Bible does point away from it, and straight to Landover Baptist!

However, if anyone does ask me questions, please remember that I am a college student and have many other obligations and may not be able to answer straight away...

No worries, if we had any questions about Catholicism, we'd go to a Catholic forum to ask them.

I will pray that you will see the light and come to the One True Religion. (Ours.)

Son, why would you want to throw your life away and follow a papist? The entire catlick religion is organized like the Genovese crime family, right up to the pope

always taking his cut of the take.
You are young, open your eyes. The catlick Church floor show is full of smoke and mirrors. They 'interpret' the Bible (a weak 'version' at that). We follow the KJV 1611 Bible verbatim, word for word, just as God intended. Our services praise God, not a whore. We do not 'put the squeeze on' to take the few dollars you might have.
You can repent the catlick Church. You can truly find God and be Saved®. Do not follow the path you are currently following, it'd be a shame to find you got kicked down stairs all because the Don wanted his cut.

I am not spouting hate. I am trying to prevent him from throwing his life away. If I hated him, I'd of encouraged him to follow the catlicks to the gates of Hell.

Hey..a bit uncalled for, i am reading the bible..and what you are saying is an ABOMINATION to the bible!
I dont know if god is there watching over me..but all the fire and brimstone stuff is going too far
As for your comment..you are intolerant to what anyone else believes in
Im trying to learn about christianity..i own a bible, i have been told to read john

Would not be an atheist

Capitalize all references to Him

Not be narrow minded

Show compassion

Understand about Heaven, Earth and Hell

Start from the beginning, where did your religion come from? And don't say the Bible, give me the history

Hey my brother! I too am a Catholic, and I've sadly been on this forum a bit too long trying to argue with these idiots. I keep telling them that the Catholic church is the only way to God and they just keep insulting me, even changing my user title to "Papist Stooge." But I don't let it bother me. I know God loves me, and I look forward to seeing all of these Baptists freaks suffering in hell while you and I and all our Catholic brethren are laughing at them. Praise Jesus!

The only thing the catholic church produces are atheists and people with severe intimacy issues and no self respect due to the childhood priest buggerings. You've already made it clear you aren't an atheist so you clearly must be a wretched wreck of a would-be man who has lost all sense of self worth due to years about years of molestation. Any organization that uses fear and shame to maintain it's control over people is disgusting in my eyes. And what those priests did to you is inexcusable.
