I am not Cathlic, so don't do anything to do with the pope...
I was not quoting the bible... I myself believe it is a sin. A sin that deserves punishment.

It's not the concept of sodomy being a sin that I have a problem with. That degenerate choice of deathstyle is an abomination. However, "mortal sin" is primarily a papacy device. Sin is sin! The only unforgivable one is blaspheming the Holy Spirit!

KJV Romans 6:12 says "Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof."

Sin in your mortal body? Mortal Sin?

Thank you for pointing out the similarities to the cathlic papacy though, well noted, and I will stick to sin is sin in future... I think cathlics are lame to say the very least and do not wish to be associated to that, even if through ignorance...

I don't bake, sadly! I'm not too bad a cook, but baking is not my forte!! We eat what we call "pap" and gravy. Biscuits are for coffee breaks...

Okay, I am a Catholic and I am really quite offended by this. I have come to this message board in peace and yet all of you people just keep attacking me for my religion. I don't understand why you hate us Catholics so much. Am I not a Christian? Do we not both love God? Are you saying I am going to go to hell because of the church I am in. You people are really driving me to my limits. There is nothing but hate and intolerance on this board coming from you and your friends. Catholics do not carry on about you lot like this...

Having said that, Christianity is the only True Religion. Although I am not the one to judge or do any banishing, I can categorically state that catholic is not the correct way to go my friend...

Confessing your sins every day a million times a day does not make your life "spotless". I am open to valid opinions, but please be aware of the fact that I am strong in my faith, and am not here to be convinced of anything other than my true God and His Will!!!
