I have heard many things such as that. I disagree with most of what people say. The word "extreme" is an overstatement in my honest opinion.
Which version of the King James Bible, you ask? Why, the 1611 version, the one and only TRUE version.Comment

I used to carry a hardcover large-print version, but I found that something lighter and softer is best when rebuking the sinners at retirement homes.

To be entirely honest, I agree with you. My back is, according to those people who call themselves "doctors", failing me. I try at all times to travel lightly.

My dear Brothers (and Sisters alike), it has come to my disgraced attention that the so-called Christian Scientists had elected once long ago to completely and entirely erase the Gospel of Thomas from the Bible! Blasphemy, I say! The Gospel of Thomas clearly explained Jesus' uncanny ability to conjure waves in the river around his toy boat. It maddens me to think that these so-called "followers of God" would deny such a Godly thing!Comment

Sister, you are very correct. We are indeed in Littleton, CO. The Littleton Baptist Church has been around for quite a while, since 1954, to be exact. Er, the Christian Science movement was started by Mary Baker Eddy in 1875. The so-called "Gospel of Thomas" not included in the re-dictated King James Bible because God did not want it included.Originally posted by RossDLtn View Post

So, I fail to see what connection you see between the Bible and Christian Science.
My friends, I do believe we have ourselves something worse than a False Christian; this is a Fraudulent Christian, who is referencing heretical books which are not part of the Bible while claiming to be a Baptist minister. He has tried to play a game with us, assuming we are a gaggle of semi-literate rednecks because we have Faith in God's Truth, and he has lost.

Thus: if the "gospel" of thomas had the Word of God in it, it would never be allowed to rot away in a cellar somewhere, with only fragments now remaining!
It would have been included in the Holy KJV1611 Bible already.
