Hello-
I apologize for not posting here first. I was following a thread that I had found via a search and got caught up there.
Please allow me to Introduce myself.
My name is Christine, I'm a born again believer of 15 years. Married with kids. Five of them ranging in ages for 4-22. I have home schooled the older ones on and off, now they're graduated. Now it's on to the the two preschoolers. We've attended as a family a SBC for a number of years and have been involved in 2 Church plants. Unfortunately our home church became steeped in the Emergent Movement and sadly we had to step away. We like to visit many churches in our community here in Southern Virginia, but have our children anchored in a Non-Denom church for fellowship and bible study.
I was not raised in the church and was as far removed from any relationship with our Lord Jesus as one pitiful soul could be. I had married very young and was involved in a controlling relationship that left me hurt and empty. During my separation in that marriage I was in an awful accident that was life changing for me to say the least and in turn lead me to Christ. To the Cross. I have been safely in His Arms evey since.
Matthew 11:28-30 (King James Version)
28Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
What I believe.I believe the Holy Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired, and without error; that the Holy Scriptures contains the infallible rules of faith and practice for all who would profess belief in Jesus Christ. I believe obedience to God’s word is the most important part of my worship of God.
I have an online ministry that I care for daily and numerous friends online that I study with. I enjoy attending Prophecy Confrences as well as Women's Leadership Retreats and Meetings.
Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the day approaching. Heb 10:25
My first resolve it towards My Christ. Jesus. Then to my family and friends.
I look forward to reading over the posts here, and popping in every once in awhile to say hello
.

Also- I apologize for leaving a link in a thread to my email. I missed that in the rules. I'm sorry.
