    Seeking Shelter From the Storm

Hello fellas, my name is Jedediah. I'm from Missouri and I'm just sick and tired of trying to lead a holy life in the midst of all the perversion in the world! I just want to find a play with like interests where I can say what's on my mind without having to be "politically correct," but "Biblically correct!"

My favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 4:6, but I just want everyone to know Im no Jew supporter neither. I've also been very cautious with the churches around here, as I think the fags and the blacks have infiltrated them. Frankly, I think too many churches have gone soft, so I may be starting my own church here soon. Pray for me brothers!

    Yours in Christ, NFIF

We do not tolerate racism around here, friend. Jesus can wash the stink of sin off of anyone, including the nigra and the sodomite.

Specifically which churches are you talking about?

What church do you attend? There are plenty of good Bible believing Independent Baptist Churches in your neck of the woods.
    Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

I'm speaking of those damned Methodist and Presbyterian Churches. And one question, do we include those homosexuals as a race now?

I'm not sure who you mean when you say "we." Landover Baptist Church sure doesn't. But through Christ, all things are possible. Even the most repulsive queer in San Francisco can be washed clean of sin in Christ's blood.

Now then, what church do you attend? What's your pastor's name? I may know him.

I currently attend a Jap church in Wyandotte the congregation is led by Pastor Lee. Although I understand very little of what he says I think he's a godly man.

You're lucky I'm not God. I would NEVER forgive a fag.

Friend, the ornamental race cannot be trusted at all. I spend quite a bit of time over there trying to bring the Good News about Jesus to the slopes. I even speak their gibberish. Take it from me, they are a sneaky bunch.

Yes, in YOUR eyes...which is twisting the Bible. Homosexuality is not blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. Can you show us Scripture to support your position?

Also, watch your attitude. You should show respect to a fine, outstanding True Christian(tm) pastor who can mop the floor with you when it comes to understanding the Bible.

Good sir, I do not believe in a congregation that does not allow me to rebuke!

Ecclesiastes 7:5 says, "It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise than for a man to hear the song of fools."

Whether you believe in what I say, it is Unbiblical to punish me for speaking what I find to be true in the word.

The issue is not whether you can rebuke or not. Also, as this is not your congregation, you should learn your place. What is the problem is you are claiming that homosexuality is equal to blasphemy against the Holy Ghost yet you provide no Scriptural support for this belief.

As for speaking what you find to be true in the Word (private interpretation), the Bible warns us against that:

2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

Re: Seeking Shelter From the Storm

My my my you people are beginning to sound a lot like the cat-licks and those Jehova Witnesses that show up on my door step. Cat-licks tell me I need some priest to tell me how to read my bible, them witnesses think I need the Watchtower to read my bible.
The task of giving an authentic interpretation of the Word of God...has been entrusted to the living teaching office of the Church alone...This means that the task of interpretation has been entrusted to the bishops in communion with the successor of Peter, the Bishop of Rome" (Catechism, paragraph 85).
And good sir, if you read the verse in its entirety it says
"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit" (2 Peter 1:20-21).
This verse is more than probably talking about the authors of the word, assuring that each word of our beloved Book is not written down by the prophets "private interpretation." But the scripture is "God-breathed (2nd Timothy 3:16). He continues, ""prophecy never came by the will of man." The prophets did not invent the scriptures. Rather, they were God's instruments to write his Word: "...holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit" in the same scripture.

The Good Book does not explicitly say what the unpardonable sin is, it is up for us to interpret! Which I just proved, an interpretation as moved by the spirit is legitimate! No one can say with confidence what exactly is the unpardonable sin, so neither I, nor any pastor can say what exactly it is.

No, the Bible tells us that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is the unpardonable sin.

Mark 3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

The only way you can defend your position is by admitting you twist Scripture to suit your own needs.
