Please provide the Scriptural basis for your errant belief that Jesus -- that is, God incarnate -- is a "liberal". Quotes from some Pastor Feelgood don't cut it.
First, thanks on the correction of ya'll. But I like it. But point taken.

Errant belief? Child, look at his works, which bucked the system completely, much like today's anti-war, anti-capitalist (i.e. money changers in the temple scenario, etc) and on and on will illustrate. This guy had nothing to do with the status quo, or oil, or power, or greed. He just had a message. That is where all Christians go awry in their interpretation of his message. Bible passages/scriptural basis? I guess one just has to read between the lines and have a heart. One can interpret them literally, as have the Baptists, or one can realize that the God we all "whatever" transcends all religions and "just is." Unless you're an atheist, of course, and then you are really living a life in vain.

Jesus himself was actually a liberal and pretty okay, but what religion has done over centuries is tragic.

Clearly, you're not American, or you'd know the vast majority of the population is NOT Baptist.

Meanwhile, you say you want to be a Catholic, yet embrace doctrines which are not consistent with Catholicism, or in fact any form of Christianity, and not supported in any way by Scripture.

Would it not make more sense for you to become a Hindu or a Buddhist, since you want to believe in reincarnation, and it's their idea?

You can't change God's Word to suit yourself!
Thank you for the compliment. I cannot think of a greater compliment than for someone to say I must not be American. Since my shrink is from the Phillipines (originally), my therapist from Ireland (originally) and my Handyman from Italy (originally), I must be doing something right!! Yay!!!!!!!

I realize my logic wasn't straight there, but I've had a couple sippy cups of wine on a Saturday night.

Muslims invaded and conquered more than half of the former Christian empire, raping murdering women and children as they went. They still squat on resources (oil) God intended for His people. So, yes, they did ask for it.

However, we believe in the Resurrection, not in endless recycling of souls.

Kindly show us where the Bible indicates this.

Er, Catholics don't believe in Reincarnation. They believe in praying to idols, faux cannibalism, buggering boys, and that hell is not a real place. You seem to be grossly misinformed about the Mary-worshippers.

BTW, Glendora, what happened to that guy's legs in the pic? I don't see them. I get the drift, but where are his legs?

I'm also a believer in Reincarnation, as it is the only thing that can level the playing field in terms of the killing spree that Bush, et al have embarked on. Those Iraqis sure never asked to be bombed to smithereens. It's sinful.

You all should know that in the early church of Christ the gnostics did embrace Reincarnation.

Another reason to convert to Catholicism is because it's not exactly like being a Baptist. I had a miserable childhood and I credit much of it to my mother, who incidentally was raised a Baptist before converting to Lutheranism, which is REALLY boring. At least Catholics have fun.

Well, thank you Glendora the good witch (from where in Wizard of Oz?)

Please tell me what is fun about being a Baptist. Seems to me like it would be hell on Earth, not to say Earth isn't hell. That is why we reincarnate, to re-evaluate our lives and do better the next time. It is the only way I can accept the evil done by the Christians under Bushco (and Bushco, which if there ever were an antichrist family, it would be that administration).

As for your last statement, those mooslums are trying to take our oil and that's enough reason to kill all of them!
