Eno, sweetie, that was a movie. Not a documentary. There is no Lord Summerisle. It was a story. But then again, you do see a storybook as the ultimate guide to life so it's only to be expected you'd confuse the two.

There is no contradiction in an Atheist using the words god or demonic to describe "good" or "evil" concepts that don't require a god to be understood.

To say that God is a verbal construct that men use to describe good, or that demonic is a verbal construct to describe evil, is not contradictory. It is simply using language figuratively -- something all sophisticated people do. It doesn't mean for a moment that someone believes in the god up there in the sky rubbish.
