I joined this site because while surfing the web, I saw something that caught my eye : "Is your child a Godless goth?" Curious as to what it said, I clicked on it and read the list of signs your child is gothic. At first I thought it was a joke, but then I relized you people were serious. I looked around the rest of your site, and honestly couldn't believe your opinions on some subjects, such as the gothic subculture.

The reason I joined this site was to point out flaws in your reasoning. I am what people lable "gothic" and I am also 100% Christian. I don't worship Satan or drink blood. I simpily dress different than you and have a different taste in music. Style and music don't affect your relationship with God. God never said, "Thou shalt not wear black." The music I listen to is not satanic, depressing, or harmful in any way. Most of the songs I listen to are about beauty in this world, but yet it's still labled gothic. The music played on the radio like Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, and Katey Perry are far more harmful than Moi Dix Mois will ever be. The gothic subculture isn't violent. I'll admit, there are a few insane ones out there, but there are people like that in every subculture.

I go to Gardendale First Babtist Church and accepted Christ into my life when I was 7 years old. I'm 16. I go to church three times a week; four times if there's a special Bible study. My parents are good Christians who pray and read the Bible to my siblings and me every night. When I go to collage I want to study to become a social worker so can get childern out of abusive homes and find them good families to live with so they can grow up to be a God-fearing person.

The fact that you just called me 'gothic trash' should prove my point on the gothic hate you're spreading on this site. That is definetly one of the flaws. I said I disagreed with SOME things, not all things. I acually agree with a lot of the stuff said on here, just not your views on the gothic subculture.

Since you confess to being a 16 year old goth female, I'd like to ask you why anyone here should take what you say seriously. Why aren't you off scrubbing floors with your mother? Why hasn't your father beat the goth out of you, harlot?

I might be 16, but I am clearly far more mature than you. The reason I'm not scrubbing floors with my mother is because we cleaned house yesterday, thank you very much. My father approves of the way I dress. He says it's a lot better than the girls running around my town with hardly any clothes on. Doesn't the Bible teach women to be modest? I think I dress far more modestly than most of the teenagers in America.

Who would want a Goth to take a child out of a home? What do you plan to do with them if you take them? Hopefully someone can track this Goth Witch for future reference through her e-mail or IP address. This one scares me. Some kids might be much better off in an abusive home then thrown to a Witch.

Will,that's it for my replies. I just can't stomach creatures such as this anymore. It came to a Christian Forum of love and tries to make a mockery of all things good. If we offer it help,to convert,to show love too,it would be next to impossible. I will now go and devote my Prayers tonight to this pitiful Creature and hope it sees the error of its ways.
