Hi, my name is Alberto. I like to go by Albert, my friends call me Al. I am here so that I can gain the wisdom and fellowship of strong Christians. Let me tell you a little about myself.
I am a 21 year old male. Yes I am Mexican, but only half. My mother is all American! I am blessed to have received the better genes as I am fair skinned. I am worried about my father (the Mexican), because when he gets home from work, rather than be filled with the spirit, he likes to drink Coronas instead. My parents raised me Christian, but now that I live on my own and have found a good Baptist church here in Texas, I have come to question who they truly follow. For one thing my father was raised Catholic. I am a little afraid to go to my grandparents' house. Though they had the good sense to move from Mexico and become United States citizens, they pray to idol like statues of Mary in their house. I have considered a name change, I think I would like a proper Christian name like Jacob or David, but I do not know if that would be "honoring thy father and thy mother." I suppose I will just go by Albert for now.
Anyways I wanted to get everything that might be questionable about me out of the way. I seek the fellowship of strong Christians who will not compromise truth and help guide a young Christian such as myself.
