Basically, they are atheists pretending to be religious.

Let me replace your assumptions with facts.

Your assumptions is that Pastafarianism is the same as Atheism. It is not. The Frequently Asked Questions on Pastafarianism as written down by Bobby Henderson are very clear on that. You can use your "lmgtfy" to check these things out for yourself.

That is a false assumption. I have no intentions of doing that.

Do you think Jesus is a joke? (on a Christian forum?) I hope not. (yet you attempt to ridicule Him) Why do you assume other religions are a joke? (setting me up for the argument that goes: "You are atheist too because you don't believe in 4999 deities in human history and I don't believe in 5000)

Pastafarianism was created as an argument against teaching Creationism in schools. Basically, they are atheists pretending to be religious. I can see how it can work there when the school boards have to treat all religions equally.

But that whole battle is completely irrelevant for us. We already decided a long time ago that our children should be homeschooled. I teach my own children just like my parents taught me and their parents taught them. And so on.

Believe me, the teaching of evilution is the least of my worries. I have recently watched a documentary about life in public schools called Girls Gone Wild. It is not an environment I want my daughter to be in.

Really, attempting to keep evilution out of an already corrupted environment serves no logical purpose. It is like trying to enforce an alcohol ban in a brothel.
